MY A64 3400+
Unmodded Mach II and with heatspreader ontop
Who has the fastest 2500+?
I've ever seen a 2500+ not mobile at 3030MHz with a prometeiaQuote:

Yeah. Most times the fsb is so low that it does not matter if 3gig with 200 to 215fsb or 2,8gig with 255 ;) (high fsb is the winner most of the time)
Believe me, I know... :(
Holst had (or still has) a barton doing 3gig but no high fsb for him as well... May the board or the cpu set the limits.
I was referring to the fastest super pi time...
And that's what I meant... no hgih fsb, no high benches
I think nobody with an xp (barton etc) has broken 34s (read this thread and you will see) me as well...
Needs high fsb and over 2,9GHz.
okQuote:

Sure there is. But not with a xp2500 - I believe the record barton was MEMESAN running a XP2800 around 3464 and 231fsb.. That gave a SUPERPI at 31sec..
Okay. But not with 24/7 cooling ;)Quote:

LN2 I assume :slobber:

No not 24/7
but with ‰t‘Ì’‚‘f—â‹p cooling (I assume thats LN2) :D

REALLY amazing !!! The most ingenious is the fact that this Bench is made in mid 2003, and even high OCed Northwoods have problems to beat this score. :DQuote:
Yup thats the most impressive part of it.. Actually I had a almost 100% similar stepping on my old xp2800 that did 2610mhz (around mid 03) with water or the same using a sucky vapo and only 1.8 vcore :)
36s @ 2912MHz, XP2400-M
:)
i'd like to know, does Super Pi take advantage more of CPU or FSB??
I would say 1:1 fsb action over cpu..
Yep.Quote:

11x260 gave me 34s ;)
watch. older bench with locked barton 2500

Yeah.
Unfortunately I could not get an additonal mhz on the fsb with this board... I hope I can improve the time when my LP B replacement gets here :) (bench is nearly 2 months old)
hell of a job btw.!! :toast: .. Arent you no 1. on the orb with a barton or does bowman record still stands?
my best score:
http://www.home.no/dpa/Ftp/Bilder/vr-zone.JPG
i get the same score at 4140mhz.. so iam pretty close to 32sek i think.. 30-40mhz more maybe..
32sec. A64 3200+ @276.7*10
Very nice oc/score TinTin.
Just watercooled?
Just changed to MACH II cooling. For watercooling, it was at about 2500MHz.Quote:

Don't know about no 1
All I know is Bowman was taking his 24k apart cause nature was too high... error in 3dm (I also have two benches over 24k with impressive nature scores..24,1k :D )
What's LORD's score???
like 24,3 or soQuote:

1:1 at 280mhz 280x10 at 2-2-2-5 and your only running 26.5k in 2k1???
time to bench again and so some 27.5k action :)
nice score niaboc

;) NICE :) Im so jelouis that is the lowest cpu freq. superpi 1m I have ever seen maybe lowest ever.. what ram??
Very impressive... niaboc79 :toast:
I just did superpi 1M on an old dual computer; ASUS P2B-D+2*266 mhz pentium II , it got 7minutes and 33seconds - strange thing is that with only one processor in it, it also gives 7minutes and 33seconds...
Can superpi not use the power of 2 cpus?

as far as the world records go..Quote:
Remember you have to compare the right cpu´s - amd64 vs. p4 and the P4ee vs. FX..
in both AMD is ahead
P4EE record is at 24sec (5269MHz)
FX-51 is at 26sec (3304MHz)
P4E 2.4A record is 27sec (4736MHz)
A64 3400 record is 27sec (3174MHz)
all ln2 cooled
My best so far, aircooled:
Prescott 2.4A:
34sec @ 3801MHz (211x18)
33sec @ 3962MHz (220x18)
32sec @ 4038MHz (224x18)
31sec @ 4166MHz (231x18)
30sec @ 4317MHz (240x18)
almost 29sec at this speed :D

nice macci but the other guys at 280x10 2.8ghz on a64 at 1:1 2-2-2-5 runing 30s is smoking for low cpu power and fast scoring..
what ram timings are you running here macci??
Yea sure is - the A64 of course is a lot better clock to clock.Quote:

But this chip is smoking for low CPU cost (~150€) and fast scoring :D
RAM at 1:1 2-2-2-5 of course ;)
macci,
How are you cooling the Prescott if I might ask? I would imagine subzero something ;)
Since its a 133 part I would imagine it would run on my old P4PE eh?
Ah sorry forgot to mention that. Its a R404 modded Mach2..

with extra fan mod :D
Macci has a mach II?? lol :)
I see how you had to add another fan to pull it out of factory conditions ;)
Oh and sorry I just now saw that its a prescott your running I thoiugh that was a p4EE wow only 4.4ghz and almost 29s wow :)
I want to live in your town you have so much fun with this hardware :)
hehehe... athlon xp 1700+ watercooling

nice one tic´tac..

what is your steppings on these 2.4A macci and daniel_tin?
Hey guys.
I already managed a 33m 32M superpi bench before with an xp-barton 2500+ at 2,8+ but with my dfi lanparty b I am not able to break 40minutes
Could it be the servicepack 2 I am now using, before it was no.3 with win2k... ?
I always push my board hard with max timings and cpc on and cpu int aggressive... at 11x260 with maxed timings I only get around 40minutes and I wonder how it can be?
cascade results w/ 2.4A (so far..):

old 3.0C (looks like it has got some extra speed during the last 2months - used to max at 4206):
http://www.akiba-pc.com/e107_images/...pi1m_32sec.gif
In 1:1 mode it reaches 34s limit at only 3821MHz ;)
http://www.akiba-pc.com/e107_images/...pi1m_34sec.gif
macci: what is the stepping on your 2.4A?
When i ran 12.5x200 I did 44sec with my 2500+
When i run 11x225 it will do 40sec
4sec of just by running 225MHz run instead.. :)
247,6*10 = 38 sec :D
I'll update with picture later...

mmmh, I only get 35s with 3890MHz! with 259MHz Ramspeed. You only have 3821MHz Core and 255MHz Ram. That is 70MHz less CPU and 4MHz less Ram. I have the P4C800-E.

There's no fix?
VDD/Vdimm/VTT was done but not VAGP. Anyhows I'd still not be able to run 339 FSB with 5:4 so it sort of balances out at high FSB 3:2
1:1 mode is clock to clock faster than 5:4 mode. Also use Win2003 server OS for SPi 1M :)Quote:

Not really fast and far away of your times, but my pers. best try with my system...

I think a bit more MHz and i get another second, cause till 235xMHz nothing change.
Changing my Samsung CC4 for some Infineon 6A for better Timings dont gave me the expected effect.
btw, sorry for my english ;)
