Mushkin 4000 2 gig kit.

Excellent work Eric !!! :toast:
Nice sticks, can you get SP32 to pass at that ?
thanks seems with 623-3 best i'm looking at is 280-285mhz 3-3-3-8 at 2.76v as it seems 623-3 isn't letting me loosen max async/ddram response time/preamble beyond Auto/Normal/Auto as it hangs on boot when ever preamble set at 6/6.5ns, so only 8ns/5.5ns available for meQuote:

Would be nice if folks in the list on this thread ran Pcmark05 suite + memory tests at least as well :)
George, have you tried 4x1gig yet with the Ballistix ?
I don't think so.Quote:

I am running 10x290 right now cas 3-4-3-8 1T @ @2.9 volts.
but then again, I still have my "BH5/UTT" Bios on my DFI board here.
things may change if I give a shot to a TCCD or General bios...
but I am not holding my breath.
hard to complain though, with 290 :p:
Not yet still finding my footing with the L503 pair :)Quote:

max async and Trfc are a bit too tight there :)
I have set them to 7ns and 14 both. :)
seems Trc = 8 slightly faster than Trc 7 for this ram in superpi
These are 2x 1GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC4000 singles that i bought off Major (thanks mate :) ) do exactly same as my dual channel pair only diff is they actually show up as Micron instead of noname as dual channel pair does

Impressive stuff guys. I will update the database later tonight when I get a minute. Thanks everyone for your contributions.
Eva, got your PM, some great info there, should I put it somewhere around the database?
DB Updated. :D
Kunaak, get me a cpu-z verified link and a spi 32m of your best clocks with that mushkin. I need more of that mushkin stuff for the db.
Diverge, Waffles...I need the voltages for both your entries. :fact:
2.9v does the trick for me :DQuote:

I'll run super pi now for ya Enjoy when I get them. Although, I must say, I'm really more interested in running them 2.5 3 3 so I guess I'll give those results and the 3 3 3 results. I'm also more interested in 3dmarks 24/7 clocks. I waited the for the egg to get a new batch of 4400's so hopefully I get a good chip. If not oh well. That'll be my last chip before the quad cores.
yeah put the info some where so folks know :)Quote:

The ballistix review at tech powerup has ballistix runnin cas 2.5 @ 270. Nobody here was able to even get close to that. I wonder if it was a misprint. enjoy can u shed some light on this? http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Crucial/Tracer4000/2
edit: upon further review, i think that review is 2x512 instead of 2x1024. Not 100% sure tho.
Yes, it's 2x512MB! Should fix that.. :p:
It doesn't say it's 2GB anywhere in that review, you guys just assumed it was... :p:
Looks like Im still holding steady at #1 for non Crucail 400 dollar micron chips..

bahhh - K bought 2x1GB Ballistix but cant get this memory above 216Mhz dual channel on the Neo2 mobo =/
it's not a new problem, but K figured it was the crappy Kingston Value DDR400 that was in use before switching, so didn't think much of it before
K have tried trawling through the hints&tips thread for the Neo2 to no avail - does anyone remember how to fix this board for +220MHz on the memory?
just as a fyi - tried each single stick and still only managed 240MHz stable for both =/
MSI K8N Neo2 had issues with 2x512MB so not surprised with 2x1GB... dump the board and grab a DFI NF4 Ultra-D heh
