Can't seem to get it stable enough to Prime over 3ghz, but i can run 3Dmark2001 and also SuperPi
I've lowered it all the way down to 2.85ghz and it still craps out of Prime, sometimes in an hour, sometimes after 4 hours. Seems kind of random. Any ideas? Otherwise I'm pretty happy with stability. :toast:

Finally got a good one:

Air Cooling. Btw don't mind the high Vcore. This was just to check how high I could run Pifast. For 24/7 I run 2,75Ghz @ 1.6V.
Got my winnie to do 2.4ghz stable 24/7 with prime. Haven't tried any more but I will. http://home.no/nickeh/2.4ghz.240fsb.1.5-2-2-6.solid.jpg

Here's my 24/7.

I will post pictures when I go for lunch, but right now
Running
270HTT * 9
Ram 2.5-4-3-7 1T 1:1
Sandra gives 7000+ MBS
SuperPi 34sec 1 M
I think this thing will go pretty far (i havent tested further yet)
First boot on brand new machine.

Hope to get it under water soon.
Well, here is my winny OC.
A64 3200+ (CBBID 0502APCW  )
DFI NF4 Ultra - D (BIOS 218)
2x512 OCZ 3500+ plat. Ltd. Edition.
Antec Smartpower 430w
fsb @ 250 mhz
Core @ 2.375ghz (x9.5) (1.450v)
HTT x4 (1.20v)
DRAM @ 216 mhz (432 DDR, 2.70v, 9/10, 2-3-3-8)
No pics yet. Not worth the effort! lol
keep working bud! :D
Seems my core is not going to cooperate with me much past this OC. No matter what I adjust I can't get the core to accept 2.4+. I've had my ram to nearly 500mhz ddr and dropped HTT lower and lower but still, even at 1.525v the cpu just poo's on it all.
Dern this CBBID junk!
Well, had some time to do more testing. Lower FSB than my original OC, but higher overall speed, and slightly higher vcore. Looks like I got a nice chip! I am really happy with it so far. :D

9x305 @ 1.55Vcore, 2.8 Vdimm
9x305 - settings later :hehe: :D
Stable enough for games, 3DMarks and 32M SuperPi runs. Can I stop obsessing why it bombs out of Prime in about 1-4 hours?

3012MHz with air... got 3100MHz outside but dont have a pic :(
More testing with the CBBHD 0447 SPAW 3200+.
This thing gets iffy around the 2.7ghz mark, but its doing some nice work below that.
Here's a pic of it doing 2.5ghz on 1.376 volts

:toast:
Hay zeebs it sounds like a crappy step you have there, You sould sell it to me and get another. :hehe: Just joking bro. Mine was a little stubborn at first. 2.5ghz was around what it would do stable at that voltage too, But once i bumped the vcore up it started to take off. Keep pushing it. Good luck.
This is the max stable my 3200+ will do... (CBBHD 0450SPBW)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...X800XL/32s.jpg
@Allbrain:
i have the exact same CBBHD0450SPBW.. about 1,7V is a lot Juice for it..
i wonder how much Vcore does yours need @ around 2500 Mhz?
Mine does Prime for 8h @1,5v /2550Mhz.
But if i try 2650Mhz, it needs 1,65V. Thats to much 4 Stock Cooler.

If I can't figure out what to do to get it stable beyond that I will probably just splurge on some vx to keep things as fast as possible for now and maybe upgrade for venice or DC FX :D
