I have already spent over 600 dollars for this project and the board refuses to post.I start to believe it is the board itself to blame.

I planned on bridging green (PS_ON) to black (ground) and just using the PSU power switch.
For the power, I believe you need three 8 pin CPU power connectors and 1 6 pin PCI-e power connector with the ground and 12v pins switched to match the other 3.
Using this as a reference, the block of 2x2 pins on the far left of the left hand connector are not connected to anything, then you have the 6 pin (with flipped 12v and ground) and two 8 pin CPU power.

Does Server 2008 R2 work on this board? Given that it has some strange ACPI (or lack of) and an odd bios?
i couldn't get windows to install. the efi bios thingy doesn't like windows. it may be possible but that's beyond my capabilities.

There is no such CPU as the B2 stepping 8347 HE.
yep, 2008r2 migth work as it supports efi i think i linked a related to that. But dosens of linux distros support that board too, you just need to enable no-acpi before startinhg install from cd/dvd

I went the waterblock route. Currently have 3 waterblocks, the reservoir, and one radiator. I have a second radiator, the last waterblock, and the second radiator on the way (I wouldn't try to run all 4 CPUs on one radiator myself). Then I'll just need fans, tubing, clamps, and some barbs for the stuff that didn't come with any.
I previously had conversations with Paul from XSPC about some of his X2O VGA blocks for my graphics cards, and I just sent another email asking about CPU blocks for these boards. :)
Unfortunately I only have a small amount of spare income, so for this reason I can only afford to water cool the boards if I can get some good bargains. The OCZ blocks are only £16 each, but I thought it'd be worthwhile to contact some manufacturers to see if we can help each out.
I'm not sure who else to contact. Possibly EK? I'm not sure if it'd be worth contacting some distributors or resellers too. Any ideas?
I posted a WTB here and on another forum looking for cheap used blocks. I picked up a couple fuzions and a couple apogees for like $25 each. Given how much heatsinks + brackets was going to cost, that wasn't too bad IMO. Sure, the blocks don't all match but who cares :p:
