Nice work AF, a quick question for you. How long does it take for the entire waterblock process? From design, preproduction/testing/fitting, to milling/production?
I'm gonna wager close to 4 weeks, wonder how close I am :)

this is a very internal question, don't you think so? ;)
it is one-two day(s) for a mainboardset with serial-tops like the EVGA P55 classified 200 set.
and for a fullcover it would be ~ one week (4,5 days CAD, 0,5 day Miling).
BUT! in fact that i do study in the week... i have only the weekends for Anfi-tec.
old picture, with old blocks:

I was just curious, if it's top secret info don't compromise just for my questions. :)
Thanks though :)

Like the look of the cpu block with the tubing, what size is that btw?
Looks good, not stretched too much :)
Those are 13mm Fittings with 16/10mm Tubing

Ooh, I've been looking at the 7/16 tubing, wasn't sure how 3/8 would do over 1/2 barbs.
You ever had any problems? Which would you advise, 7/16 or 3/8?
Well, when you have only wide radius, good 13/10mm (3/8") tubing (Koolance, primochill) would be ok, otherwise i would recommend the bigger 16/10mm (7/16 in the US) tubing from the link - masterkleer, or primochill. The 3m / 10m and 15m Retail Packages from MK are new revisions, which are very similar to the good primochill tubing - both in colors and max. radius, but cheaper than the primochill tubing !
The tubing you linked was 3/8?

Thats 7/16 tubing.
In the link there is 16/10mm Tubing - thats the size which many users in Ger prefer atm, because of the good max. radius
Yeah, which is 3/8 ID, so would you recommend that over 7/16 ID (15.9/11.1mm)
yes because of a bit thicker wall
pls write me via pn if you have more questions, because this is a picture thread ! :)

bundy.......the part the goes into the tube, silver for anti-algae??
Hehehe, maybe they print it as a feature on the packaging soon :ROTF: Itīs just for "Bling Bling" and of course Anti-Cyclone like known from other Res. :)
I like that pump top...full of bling. great stuff.
Yep and the massive top (800g) makes the pump silent ! :)

Koolance DDC top circa '07/'08
Oh what a clever find..first i thought, itīs a plagiate from a Thermaltake Plastic Top ;) In this case, copy is better than the orig. because no Alu is used and it costs only 23 $
Thanks for admitting that.;)
It seems all Phobya is good for is copies because aside from being the original Liquid cooling scumbag, Andreas doesn't have anything original to bring to the table. He and his shills will always have my undying loathing. ;)
Besides, I can use a Antec big boy rad (also Alum) and some crappy zalman block and not worry about corrosion and still get better temps than anything made by Tt. :p:
Well, everything what sells good is followed by a cheaper copy :) Look at the inner structure from the Heatkiller 3.0 CPU Waterblock for example and compare with the Koolance 360, or XSPC Rasa block, just to name 2.
Or the lovely ;) Feser Rads...compare with EK, Coolgate, Phobya rads..whatever, nearly all the same stuff :)
BTW: Feser Admirals....the prototype where those rads based on is about 4 years old ! The only really new thing is that Lego Stone structure. We had Rads with round tubes in 2002 or before from 1a Cooling, a little GER Company
Just thought I would add some of my shots from my rebuild - Wet Alien v2. Please forgive me for my crappy camera skills!! :shakes:
No need to introduce this.....:D
