Check your PM box, I did it for him :D

Thanks hinge  Hopefully by the time the TPower arrives I'll also have my EPROM programmer for some hardcore BIOS mod experiments
I want also P4 support :help: :D
Yep, Any P4 or Celly that supports FSB800 should work with the modded BIOS. I don't have a P4 or Celly to test that aspect, but the CPU patches have been added to the P6 table
You are my saviour :woot:
Celly can have pin mod :D
I'm not sure if the mBIOS will take kindly to the pinmod or not. It may have to be a CPU that natively supports FSB800.
im having major ram issues here, at 1150 my ram passes all memtest tests. but will not even boot into windows even with the timings set to 6-6-6-18-2y! WTF! ram settings set to auto except for timings and voltage, perf levl auto, rcomp on auto. tried rcomp 4 and hangs before full post.
same here, I can do 1066 at cl5 to just cant seem to get into winblows any higher than 1066 will pass memtest though.
I'm doing what I can for the BIOS. Looking at the individual modules there doesn't appear to be a memory table, or at least the ID for it is different. I could chance an arm and replace the module which I think is the memory table, though. If anyone is interested I have a beta mBIOS for the TPower, doesn't do too much but the foundations need testing none the less.
i think you need to take perf lvl out of auto and set it to either 10 or 11, as a mimimum.
also, rcomp will do better out of auto once you go above 500 fsb with a dual core cpu.
memtest is only one element towards a successful boot into windows....a lot more variables are encountered with getting into windows; like sufficient vcore, NB voltage, Vdimm and Vfsb and then the dreaded CPU & MCH GTLREF!;)
I am a newbie.. considering getting the biostar p45 mobo.. but I see they have a couple of models. I have already narrow it down to 2: this Tpower I45 & Tforce T45HP.
according to newegg specs, only diff I see is the I45 has ICH10R, 2 eSATA and better audio. Are those the only differences?? I probably will OC minorly (10-15% max). Will go for either E8500 or Q6600 for the CPU.
I just picked up one of these boards and enabled the BIOS to turn on the board using a keyboard - "any key" or mouse click.
However it doesn't seem to be working.
Anyone else see this issue?? Is there another BIOS setting required?
Is there a more extensive guide to the BIOS anywhere? The manual is pathetic at explaining any of this.
TIA
P.S.
Using QX9650 and Corsair HX620
Latency seems to be average on this board:D
Lowest i could mange was 46.8ns but othertime with same settings i get 56-58ns:rolleyes:
well no matter what settings i use for rcomp perf level whatever still no post over 1066mhz. People are saying basically that biostar is supposed to release a new bios, pfft, not so sure bout that myself. Looks like our only hope is KET I tried to open up some of the bios options myself but am having major issues using the editing stuff that KET uses. Oh BTW KET your first mbios flashed successfully, 4got to mention that.
your only real hope is getting a bios from Ket:up:
progress! yippee!
Config 2/3 or 4.
Timings on auto above 600mhz or 5-5-5-15 manually.
I found after i set the timings to CAS4 (ram can do up to 600mhz 4-4-4-4 on other boards)wont even save it in bios evn @ low mhz. After oc failed message i set the values again ram timings show as 3-3-3-8:D
Sometimes it works though:confused:
FWIW: I'm running am OCZ Reaper1066 4GB(2x2G) kit at 1074 right now, and have run my 2GB (2x1G) Reaper1150 kit at 1140 without issue in combination with an E7200.
