Increased memory to 297(DDR594) with sloppy timings just for fun. ;) Wish I could get more than 2.5GHz out of her. :D

How is your 9500 going with the Athlon64? Or are you still concentrating on non 3d benching ?
Regards
Andy
Non-3DMark really. I have a 9500np(inline memory) that I play a few games with but for the most part, I still just run these "number" benchmarks.
Don't know how people are getting cas 2(or even cas 2.5) to work with these chips 'cause I'm stuck with cas 3. I've tried four different sticks of memory and can't get a good boot.
Happy Holidays! :toast:
my little try at some Pifast work :D
I wish I wasn't such a failure at life...

Nice Caprid.
Can I get pifast for OS X? I can compile
pi_CSS5 on 2Ghz G5 can do pi to the millionth place in 12 seconds
Playing with 1.85v on the A64 3200+...

Nice one Jeff :toast:
Can see I'm not the only one enjoying the nice cool evening in the NE tonight :D

Pretty funny when you run out of FSB and have to raise your multiplier back up a 1/2 notch. Never thought I'd see 300MHz but this OCZ PC4000 Gold Edition didn't even swet it with 2.8v(granted that's at cas3 and the ram is just about frozen but I'm still impressed).
Now if I could just grow a set and mount the cpu block without the IHS. It's actually already "removed" but I just can't get myself to take the chance... yet.
You've got that right. ;) I really wanted to try and pass you 'cause you have the Prometeia and all I have is water... albeit cold water.
I'm sure you've got some left and I really don't think I'm going to break 47s... if I do, it'll be by a hair so I think your safe. :bows: ;)
Technically speaking would that not be better termed "liquid ice " :DQuote:

I bet it's around the -20C mark or less :)
Jeff, I run a stick of Corsair XMS 3500 C2 at 256Mhz 2-5-2-2, but I am not sure how much further it will go until I move away from this Via board to nforce3 ( Gigabyte ) which is sitting in the corner.

Hi guys, first entry for me. Finally got my board running nice, as it should ;)
Can't really compete with the AFX/Prom scores, but what the hell...
Old week 10 ( :( ) Barton 2800+

WoooooHooooo! #24 on Hexus PiFast Challenge overall and #1 aircooled. Didn't I read in CPU magazine that the FX would only overclock 150MHz or so? LOL...I must have gotten an FX-53 by mistake!:D
Well thougt it share this with you :)
Nr. 10 overall :D

Nice goin' Smokey! :toast:
Thx guys :toast:
The difference between the 512/1mb is 1.5 seconds in pifast fewture said 2 me so mickey it is just the way it should be ;) :)
Hopefully some better scores 2 day :D
HO HO Ho
Hope you all had a Merry Xmas - sorry for the lack of
updates decided to have a nice rest without worrying
about anything :D
Updated now though :D
Have a good 2004 folks :)
Happy New Years to you too Paul, and keep up the great work over at the PiFast page! :toast:
Yea 260x10 1:1 indeed (and you were 1sec slower!), smokey's RAM is at 233MHz only. So he could hit the same result at lower CPU MHz if he used higher RAM speed. So the difference between 512k and 1MB versions seems to be VERY little as far as PiFast goes.Quote:
it only took me 2600mhz on the 1meg cache 3200+ to match that and that also was only at 260 1:! no super fsb's
Smokey did you try with 9x multi and higher FSB and RAM speed yet?
Nope but will do ;)Quote:

Let you guys know what the results where :D :)
My newer bench at 1:1 CPU:RAM and 269MHz fsb with Ram at Cas 2-5-2-2........ :D
This is with A64 3200+ @ 2700, ram @ 1:1 2-2-5-2, AN50R.

I wonder why I can't upload my new bench???.......... :(
