The biggest issue I have is that there are people that try to say that you have to buy the most expensive hardware to have a good rig or that you can't spend xx on certain hardware also. There are some situations where the extra $30 can make a huge difference (such as 8800gts 512mb, it can be bought for as low as $160, only like $30 over the cheapest 3870), but also it isn't smart to buy the 8800ultra when the g92 gts outperforms it. RV870 will be on a whole new architecture and the latest insider info revealed that it will have 1000 SP. RV740 is 45nm version of RV730 and will appear by end of the year.
