That's a good idea, I was thinking about the T today. There's no need for it.

This worked fine for me, it's worth consideration.
what kinda temps you get with that? Is the profile shorter then the original heatsink?
guys i cant get Winflash to work with vista 64bit when i extract and try to open the exe it goes "onboard bios not award Bios!!!"
any idea why im getting this.
My Infinity 965-S is a horrible overclocker. Is there a setting that I'm missing somewhere? The max FSB my board can do is 400Mhz. If I set it even 1Mhz over 400 the board will freeze during HD detection at POST. I'm using AHCI mode so POST shouldn't even be doing the detection.
I know it's not the CPU or RAM. I was running 3.6Ghz on an Asus P5B Deluxe and 3.5Ghz on a Gigabyte DS3.
Core 2 Duo E6300 (TTBT cooler)(Upto 3.6Ghz on other boards)
Patriot DDR-667 (stable at >1000Mhz 5-5-5-15 on other boards)
Enermax Liberty 460W PS
DFI Infinity 965-S Dark
SB X-Fi XtremeMusic
I' cant get 500FSB on my DFI Infinity, I've got 1Days E6420, the one that does 4490mhz on DICE.....
Is it possible these motherboards have a FSB wall. Highest ive got on my other E6420 is 3940mhz under real cold water.
anyone can give me some help i would gratefully appreciate it.

try mode3/mode2. what ram do you have? try bumping vsb. I see you're still at 1.5v. Try 1.6 or 1.7 and see if it helps. play with pcie freq
Hi,
I make a BIOS update to I96PDC11. Previous it was I96PD904. For some reason I want to come back to I96PD904 but couldn't anymore: one block is "Write Fail" and this message (your BIOS is write protected).
BIOS locked? Why? How?!...
Help me please!
