the ballistix 8000 or 8500 will suit your need.
i own both and the 8000's have been my favorite ddr2 owned to date (haven't had chance to fully test 8500's yet though).

Thanks for the replies.... do you think the ballistix 8000 will hit cas 3 on my current board (ABit AW9D)? Got some OCZ PC8500 Sli a few weeks ago and that couldn't manage it, but I did read on these boards that that RAM had trouble with tight timings... suppose it doesn't matter too much as performance won't be much different, just can't get too high an OC on current board because of 975 chipset.:(

Yeah, I think I remember them OCZ 8500 SLi required a bit of voltage in order to run 400 (800 Effective) Mhz. Either Ballistix 8000 or 8500 only require between 2.2~2.25vdimm to run it. I'm speaking from personal experience as I've owned both kits. And the CellShock will be about the same too (2.2~2.25vdimm for 400Mhz CAS3), but CellShock are way too expensive compared with what the Ballistics have to offer.Quote:
