Maybe you would be happier with an 820 D :)Quote:

hiya,
@ alpha0ne:  you must be joking, if you've had an 450mhz p3 and win xp installed on it you never EVER want intel again ;)
If I only wanted to show with high mhz I would still have a intel pentuim ;)

Got my venice to to 2.7GHZ stable. The Bios im using on the Neo4 maxes out ram volts @ 2.85v, is there a bios that up's this to 3v+?
No you will have to Vmod it or get an OCZ booster. :)Quote:

I won't get a chance to fire it up until Sunday or Monday. :(
EDIT: Fired it up... looks like it sucks.. could get it to run super pi 1M @ 2.6ghz, but not much else... 1.6V also... Seems to run ok at 2.5ghz at 1.5V :(
sorry to hear that shamaa your gonna d2ol that thang right? :kittenhatQuote:

i tried it at 2.385gh and i get random restarts which makes me unhappy.
oh but must include this the dfi board i have started the fan and went into loading windows mode and turned the fan off and almost burned my chip up 3 different times just glad i had a 120 on a molex connector. has happened to me with 92mm panaflow with 3 pin conector. the panaflow has been in both the cpu slot and chassis fan slot and it happened both times chip gets up to 70 C and shuts off (thank god i set it to something).

Only payed $120 off ewiz for it, so I'm not too heart broken.
what is max "safe voltage" for venice, if you are using air/water/phase-change cooling?
There is no such thing as a "max safe voltage". Usually, electronic devices are made to work at about 80% of their "no more safe zone". The higher voltage you will push in a chip, the less longer it will work. I would say the max you could put depend of what you 're feeling comfortable with it and the temp associated with the voltage rise.
General convention seems to be about 1.55V good air, 1.65V water and ^1.75V phase.... but hey some ppl are running near 2V in them :D
I run my computer 15hours/day so, i don't want that cpu will be dead after couple months because too high voltage. If cpu holds atleast 18months (overclocked, overvoltaged), thats good for me :)Quote:

guys at what temp i have to expect cold bug???
just picked up a OEM 3200 venice 0521DPMW will post results once i get her installed. hope to see 3000mhz plus using this single stage phase change unit...
peace perc,
Good! I want to see some good clocks perc! Dont be afraid of the voltage!Quote:

If anyone wants to offer me a water cooling kit I will get 350 htt :woot:
heres a 0521DPMW LBBLE 3200 venice running 1.4v at 2700mhz using a single stage phasechange unit. i just got this installed about 10mins ago so i probly should run some pime and see where she winds up? hey not bad so far maybe break 3gigs with this badboy?
stepping is
How do tell it's an E6 ??Quote:
