im running 1.5v on my core and OCCT isnt stable. Anything else i should look at as far as that is concerned?
when running OCCT i top out around 55c, but i idle around 40c and gaming i get about 45-47c
Well my 940 is a turd... Can't even run cinebench at 3.7 with 1.5V and a TRUE.
Like 52C load. Even 3.6ghz won't run 3dmark now. I can't run 2.2ghz NB at 3.6 either.

Well I have been testing different speeds and the vcore that is required to be stable at that point. During my testing I have come accross something strange that I would like someone else with the same MB to verify if possible. If I set vcore to auto in the bios an overclock through AOD it takes 1.504 vcore for 3800MHz to be stable (multi overclocking only at this point). If I set the vcore manually in bios it takes 1.52 vcore for 3800MHz to be stable. Below are my screens to show what I am talking about. For my stability testing I used Intel Burntest set to run ten times which has consistently shown to error out or crash in less than 10.

Indoor temp 25c, crapy Nh-c12p with stock fan.(The 1.456v in cpuz is the real vcore)
Phenom 2 is... strange to say the least. Earlier no NB voltage combo would get me stable at 2400mhz NB, now I'm at 2600mhz at "auto" aka 1.15VNB. Also even 1.5Vcore couldn't get me stable at 3.8ghz, now I'm going along fine at 1.45V. Temps are the same. BIOS settings are the same. I literally changed nothing.

Well, didn't had time to go for 2h Prime, so.. I'll do that later.

Hmm.. haven't looked in this thread in a while.. I see there is a "Suicide" chart.. I will try to get some scores in there ;) Got some LN2 in the garage that needs to be used !! :D

Sry tweaking windows for Super pi1m is not my best thing :) , i think i need to cheat with abit higher clocks... still on air but abit colder air..2bad i need to sleep now work tommorow...i think i need to make a own thread for my scores one air(2 bad its only super p1m runes and one sucide screen)... i can give you a hint....Nb is only on 3045mhz when i´m runing super pi1m ;)
what is the safest max voltage you can use on the Ph2?
it's on this thread somewhere 1.475 =50 < something.
I did a short toutre test at 1.700 voltsthe chip throttles it self at 72C
from my temp log.

19:39:27,71°,,,55°,71°,100%,802.71 MHz, < 800mhz
My old phenom 9850 sure didn't throttle it would go until it locked up :hehe: (78C)
im running mine stable 3.7Ghz @ 1.525v on high end air. Would that voltage be too much for a 24/7 machine?
