my HD3650 on stock bios only just hit 975/1100 on stock bios, I wish it was reference to push it more...
Probably go faster than my aforementioned 3850. =/

yeh i got it to 1.1ghz/1.4ghz.. but i was expecting more out of it..

i gave up.. probably if id spend more time.. 1150/1450

temps were really low for such clocks

Yeah, I never broke 55C on my 3650 @ high clocks.

Memory recognition was at 256mb, i have 512mb. (my card is none reference) ;)

Yeah, but none for a gainward card. Mine is none reference, so surely these wouldnt work?
I already tried editing my current Bios (RBE) like i did for my 3650...
This just refused to work.

any of those bioses except for the gddr4 one should work on your 3850

I spent at least 2 hours flashing and using different bios's, included a modded version of mine, my bios is a very late version...

VER010.081.001.000.000000 according to GPUz

Could you advise me on the "most sensible" bios to use?

theyre all using the same bios.. just different versions/clocks/mem timings/etc

asus 730/950
his 735/980

and see which offers the highest clocks/performance

Niether of the reccomended bios's worked. As for my memory... I have no clue. I shall check.

what you mean by not working.. didnt flash.. overclock.. what didnt work ?

Huge glitches all over the screen on reboot. pink and grey and turquoise. I had to re-flash blind, again.

if no other bios works on your 3850 select "change to these values" save/flash bios

your clocks remain the same just overdrive max clocks @ 1100/1587

then use overdrive to find your 3850s oc max

At the moment the Card runs at 850/1125 (1,2V) on Wather.
