heh :D just need to find a moment in which i'm not procrastinating.. ;)
i read/looked through all those pages and there are definately some über-Xtreme setups shown :slobber: coo thing to be here =)
not overly extreme, but does bench with the 939's....and hey, it's almost all low-quality thermaltake, down to the ram heatspreaders! :stick:
cadaveca - The first picture reminds me of the good ol' days when I used to go to raves and techno clubs. :D
Merlin - By the way, welcome to XtremeSystems! :toast:
thx :toast:
cadaveca, "....and hey, it's almost all low-quality thermaltake, down to the ram heatspreaders!"
that sounds like you think thermaltake produces crap? judging by your 05 score @stock cpu(why?) and the pics that surely is relative, right? ;) i would be happy to have such a clear watercooling setup (or any g) :)
Thermaltake stuff is crap. It's the abit/asus stuff that is good. Thermaltake block nets me 30c idle with CNQ and 52c @ full load...stock volts. @ RMA's on one sub-$150 kit is no good. (and one CPU that foes not get overclocked often.)
'05 score with stock CPU because lower latency gets me a higher score that high fsb. CPU score is not of much importance in '05. I can get higher scores than some people with higher clocks in '05/'03 with FX 55's because of this.
Yes, there are enough lights that i do not need any other lighting in my livingroom w/ the pc on. If you saw the sound system i have hooked up, you'd understand how close you were to the truth about the rave thing you are! LoL.Quote:

the rad and pump of the kit are ok...not as efficient as some others, but enough for the job. 2 120mm rads are enough to deal with heat form both the gpu and cpu, with fans at low. The koolance GPU block works really well, and i have the koolance athlon64 block as well, but have yet to install it. It should give me better temps, although this cpu was hot at the start...63c while priming @ stock w/ stock cooling. I had to send back both the cpu block (inlets cracked after 1 month @ full load), and the pump arrived broken, and i won't tell you how cheaply they make they pump...it's really a shame. But i bought the kit for looks, not for performance...it's quiet, and that's all that matters. Getting a puddle of coolant on my X800 was not very nice tho.
hope your x800(xt!) is still doin' fine then! (i once spilled sum applejuice on my mobo while running (caseless), didn't even crash :D) speaking of x800xt.. you should consider buying a better pump, those ~40 bucks would be reasonable.. (36€ get's you serious quality, silent 600l/h in germany; 'eheim')
i suppose its a 130nm a64, but still, 63c... dang, that's really hot  would never do that, not even to my tbred.
the inlets of the cpu block cracked ?! sounds REAL bad, never heard of that b4..
anyway, let's get back to topic again ^^
Dale, is that rig built into the wall? I also like the frame around it!Quote:

I love it! A lot better than just nailing a rig to the wall!Quote:

Something seems wrong with your 03 score though. :(
Way too high a score for those clocks... might want to get that checked out in the 3dmark forum
