I use CPU burn-in 1.01, but i don't know if there are any better programs around for burning in. I so a 12 hour stint on load, then drop the voltage a notch and do another 12 hours. Maybe its too long a time, but i like to be sure to see if its working. ;)

i've used cpu burn-in before, but never ran it for more than 8 hours. my 3200 venice can fold at 2700Mhz with vcore at 1.7, but prime95 will fail right away. i can prime95 for hours at 2600Mhz with vcore at 1.5. i'd love to prime95 at 2700Mhz for hours, but that's not going to happen. right now i'm priming at 2600Mhz with vcore at 1.5. i'll let this run till i get home from work today. hopefully priming longer will let me reach 2800Mhz :).

Can you set prime to continue even if it finds errors? For burning in... :)

Not that I am aware

Pity, it would be a useful option. Then you could watch to see if the number of errors decreases over time, and so see if the burn-in is effective.

no, just condensation on motherboard, it run for 3 days in same conditions...

at this moment it was at 9x260 ~1.2v into memtest86+

Well after 9 hours priming it's still stable. I'm going to start doing the burn-in tonight, maybe, hoping to lower Vcore to 1.45. Some screenshots for you guys

that's just awesome at that vcore. are you going to push it more or is 2700Mhz the limit for this cpu? my week 19 3200 venice can't prime at 2700Mhz at all. hopefully when i get home from work prime95 is still running at 2600Mhz at 1.5vcore.

If I push it more it needs more voltage otherwise it doesnt do crap. It booted at 2800 but priming craps out under 1 min. I don't want to push more voltage into it and my voltages above 1.48 fluctuates a lot.

anyone wanna sell me their 3200 venice that's capable of 2800Mhz stable on air. got some paypal cash i want to use :). thanks :).

My friend got a bundle like mine. I dont know if you are interested. It is new in the box. I dont know if it is the same week.

How much do you guys think a 3200+ Venice is worth that will do 2800Mhz+ on air with less then 1.55V? If a chip overclocks well does that mean people will pay more then normal retail value for one? It seems like they ought to when their getting a chip guaranteed for 2800Mhz.

i say 170-180 since newegg is selling a retail for 190$, but like you said, it's guaranteed to oc well. so the buyer will have to pay a premium :). i will pay 170-180, but not more though.

Well if new retail was $190 why wouldn't someone pay more then that for a chip thats already guaranteed to run at 2800Mhz? Its not likely for you to get one that can clock higher then that but it is a possibility that you'll get one that will top out at 2.6-2.7 or less. New or slightly used the chip will still perform the same :p.
