We had 26th this month as date on SBSdata but that was changed today.
So i guess AMD has a delay.
Are the cores manufactured in Dresden and the CPU package assembled in Malaysia?
:woot: monarch computer have them :)

ships on 22 April apparently
.........on preorder.
does monarch charge you now for the pre order even the due date is on May 20th?
:dammit: I though we could get those Venice sooner, Igot my DFI SLI-DR, ordered from Newegg.com, and I've puted my PC for sale,(the one ya see on my signature) and I sold it today, now I don't have nomore PC, into my DFI and that 3500+ Venice be avalable, I want to get me an X950XT to go with DFI & Venice 3500, but it won't be avalable into June, so I guess I'm going to get me an x600 pci-e, while watting for the X950XT be release :slobber: No more PC for AMDfan for rightnow, even I will get my DFI SLI-DR board, tomorow, I won't be able to do anything with it :( :dammit:
Why would you get the SLI version of the board with an ATI card?
cuz that's one of the best OC mobo you can get, SLI or not. :D :DQuote:

Monarch new arrivals page linked above shows only 2 CPU's to ship this week - 3800 Venice and 4000 SanDiego - both in OEM versions. All others won't ship until May 6 at the earliest for OEM's, and May 20 for PIB. I am waiting for the 3700 San Diego so I guess it will be a while yet.

for those tired of waiting to get a venice, just grab a $120 3000+ winny off ebay to tide you over so at least you have a rig to game and work with!
Yes the cores are made in Dresden, shipped air to Malaysia to be put on OPD and shipped. Mind you this is all a scam to avoid TAXES, ship cores listed way undervalue to Malaysia, then ship finished items from Malaysia to EU/USA at near retail price. Sales in EU/USA taxed on tiny profit from Malay price to EU/USA retail, while bulk of AMD profit comes from business in Malaysia where they have huge tax exemption after bribing Malay govt.
Intel etc do the same. bunch of fking scum if you ask me.
Malay operations nearly totally automated and require barely any labor, there is NO reason to have the plants in Malay other than to hide profits from EU/USA taxes, the labor content is tiny and even at $50/hr for workers in EU/USA they'd still add only $1 to the cost of the chip @ retail.
The outsourcing is not about LABOR ocsts, its about hiding profits from the taxman.... $hundreds of billions worldwide across all industries (not just electronics).
Sorry...off soapbox now
PS: Think about the long term National security and economic security risks of having the bulk of critical chip manufacture in potentially unstable/unfriendly thirdworld countries. All for the sake of hidng some profits from the taxman.

Jeez, I've been out all today doing stuff and I had a feeling this was going to happen. I thought just maybe I would come home and see that my order from sparco had been shipped, but no! I think I'll be canceling my order with sparco also and just grab one when the trusty egg gets them.
Wow I almost sold my winnie too! I really feel for you guys that sold your stuff depending on this release date. The thing that really gets me is that some of you talked to people at sparco and they backed-up the ETA date. LOL think of how many people have canceled orders from sparco in the last few hours, all sparco has done is increase their monthly bandwidth bill. :slap: :D
Yeah TRYING to play BF: Vietnam on a FX5200 is NO FUN... :cussing:
Just got the order confirmation from Monarch, but look at this:
Cancellations on PARTS ORDERS:
- You may request a cancellation of your order,
provided your order has not already been processed
and shipped. Cancellations must be emailed to
cancel@monarchcomputer.com within 30 minutes of
placing your order. Cancellations placed after this
period of time may result in a 15% restocking fee
against your store credit.
uhmm.....yea, how are you suppose to restock a product that you don't even have in stock! I don't know if this rule apply to pre orders or not but it doesn't sound too good :nono:
that dosnt mean THEY WILL take out 15% that just means they might trust me all local shops have the same rule ;) dosnt mean they enforce it trust me after 3 winnies and 1 psu i never got charged a restocking fee
