say hipro, wasnt the max DDR2 voltage initially 3.5v?
we all know how much we hate generic ram

No, it's ONLY ONE model(version) of the DDR Maximizer........The unit supports DDR/DDR2/DDR3 rams.......The only thing a user can do later on, is to buy a DDR2 or a DDR3 PCB(which plugs into a ram slot of the motherboard) and upgrade his Maximizer with a very small amount of money.......There will also be DDR Maximizers with DDR2 PCB by default in the package, so the user can buy a DDR or a DDR2 unit ready.....If he buys a DDR unit ready and he wants later on(with the upcoming of the M2 and DDR2) to upgrade it, he will simply buys a DDR2 PCB very cheep......and so on for DDR3 PCB...... ;)Quote:

Hipro,
Has this been verified to work with the ASUS A8V Deluxe Rev 2.0 board? Does it work better than 3.0 volts?
U P D A T E .....
Update to Compatibility list...
Not Compatible with ASUS P5WD2 Premiun motherboard........It did NOT harm the motherboard BUT it didn't changed the Voltages - Tested up to 2.1Vdimm (not to blow up the motherboard) but the Vdimm was keep staying at 1.8Volts.... - It will work ONLY IF we unsolder the motherboard's choke which feeds the Ram modules and solder on it the positive wire of the DDR Maximizer, BUT we do not want to do so coz it's unethical and wrong to do a think like this....
Not yet but it will be tested soon.....Quote:

the product has already showed in a pc magazine here in Greece ;)
thats awesome, btw what if you have 4 x 512 mb sticks in your mobo?
what will i have to do because im (hopeing) to get 4 x 512mb UTT...
have been following the treads,
and I can understand that there is a lot of people
really interested in hipro's product,
and can not wait to get one in theirs hands,
but it seems that there is really lots of different between
having an idea , working out the idea and
most of all marketing the idea!
A lot of us (all the nuts heads) would think great idea
is all that is needed .
But with no idea one will surely be just norm.
And for those eager supporters, it take times to built
a good product, and time will tell if is worth waiting for.
(you are not using it for one month only are you)
btw hipro , a vdrop max of 2.5mv iS something,
imagine 3.3V +-0.075% with more then 100W of load.
like having a magnetic suspention in your car that can
jump 10M and nOt feel a thing !
:-)
we learn each step of the way.
Nobody talked about Christmas 2005 :P :P :PQuote:

i need it too... but i wish hipro would stop telling us when it will be out, first it was a couple weeks, then a couple more, then a few months, then a few more, then by christmas, and unless hes already shipping, very few will even have one by then...

MOTHERBOARD'S COMPATIBILITY LIST
DDR(1) based Motherboard's :
[B]ABIT IC7 Series (IC7 - IC7-G - IC7-Max3) VTT OK - no need for mods
could i kindly get some clarification on this.if i am reading this corrrectly, the above boards, which have had to be hard modded in the past will no longer need a vtt mod to maintain vtt=1\2vdimm ,when over 2.8volts in the bios??
[QUOTE=rj2]. . . . would like to know more on this, also....:eek: .........Then, i guess, i will NOT let go/sell my NEW & Never-Used/Opened . . .Quote:
