I used the awardflash menu to flash the bios, do the commands you listed do something more than a standard flash? Such as reflashing the boot block? I will go back and flash using the script if it does, and if it is necessary for this bios.

BIOS ID:11

1. Update NVMM to 4.64.14
2. Support DRAM tRFC adjusting function.
3. S3 function now works as intended without problems.
4. Support CPU multiplier adjusting function for Intel Extreme Edition processors.
5. BIOS compiled date: 2/13/2007

I also have the IN9-32X Max and found that I could lower the multiplier. While experimenting I lowered it to 6 from 9 and the uguru raise my FSB to 400mhz. Got into windows, few seconds later bsod. Everything is fine now, but would that harm the board?

Because Johnny Bravo, You HAVE to use the F10 command, if you go to the "save and exit" part of the bios and try to leave, uGURU in the bios gets all screwy, that is why.

Granted, but then again it does say so in the BIOS file :)

everytime i want to restart my PC with IN9 board, i need to change fsb (also a little change 5/6 mhz more or less) in bios or the system restart continuoslyin the first Windows screen ...
I tried each beta bios and also 1.1 final but the problem is not solved :(

Well they now have the correct and current one back up..........for now :clap: Let's see how long this lasts...

Actually considering what happened to the server that housed the forum, they did a pretty damn good job getting it back online with all the information saved.

Yea, I had no troubling logging in. Hopefully they continue to improve.

I'm on my way to Taipai, Taiwan tonight, does anyone know if Abit has any kind of office, showroom, etc. location that can be visited? I can't read the Taiwan website.

Ill try to come back with some "top secret" info about the IN9 .... :rolleyes:

Any news on how well this new bios is performing... Cant test it out atm as my rig is in pieces while i sort out my new waterloop. Hope to be back up and running by the end of the week so i can give it a go myself :)
