Very nice Fragger! I plan on doing an external radiator box some time this summer, much like yours.
@Fragger
How do you have your radiator fixed? It looks like it's attached to the wall or something. I'd like a better picture of the radiator setup itself : D
The rad is attached to a clear piece of plastic which is bolted to my desk. Must thank Dave my plastic guy who made many parts for this build, cheers mate

Being external the rad gets colder air and space is not an issue. This pa 120.3 only cost me 6 British pounds more than a 120.2:yepp: It really is overkill at the moment but I will use the northbridge cooler (Asus) on my next mobo and the chip will no doubt produce more heat. The GPU (8800 GTS) now idles 20 degrees lower than air which blows me away.
Im glad you all like it as it is my first build but I think it goes far beyond a normal first build and it has never leaked :D
awesome rig fragger.....
Is ttere a reason Fragger you run ya dimms next to oneanother ? is that not single channel then ? (I assume it's an Asus mobo I'm seeing in ya rig...)
Great build but not for me as I need to transport the rig many many times to LANs
Well spotted, dual channel no longer works. To remove the right side panel of the case I must unscrew the mobo as it attaches directly to it which is a major PITA. The last time I did this dual channel would not work when I got it all back together. Must be time for an upgrade ;)
Yeah it is a permanent installation.
Mirrors rock

Its actually plastic I had covered with mirror vinyl.
Fragger u rawk!!!!!!!!!!! Just wish that was a Danger Den tower ;)
three gtx should be nice.
peQs u must watercool your 88gtx ! It will be great system... :D
3 x EK fullcover... It should look excellent !
Thanks Brian. Yeah, something like that, I may eventually get something better, but they work and they just won't die, :D. Anyway, right now I am concentrating on tweaking my system. Finally got the red out and now the water and tubes are clear. Anyway, thanks again, wish me luck on hitting 4Ghz. :)

Hi all,
Just thought I'd add a couple of my rig to the gallery.
-TT Armor LCS
-2 loops, Laing DDC1+ Ultra's w/ EK-140 res tops
-DD MC-TDX on Q6600 + BlackIce GT Stealth360
-EK blocks on 8800GTX's + back-mounted PA120.2
I'll be adding my chipsts (all EK blocks) into the graphics loop soon and swapping CPU loop to a Feser360 + Fusion mk2 or EK supreme (and hopefully an uber-clocking QX9650 :D). Anyone know if EK do sponsorships? lol

Nice setups peQs and jarvo1
Wow thanks DB that means alot coming from such an awesome modder as yourself . I wish it was a DD tower also, they are killer, you can tell mines old by its use of 80mm fans although I had a new top made for it cause my new Enermax psu hit the top fan when installed so I had it made to fit a 120mm fan. I am quite envious of you guys in the states with easy access to every product and service imaginable, I had to import everything from performance pc's and the shipping was extreme $$$$$. Only prob I had was the MCP655 pump died after 4 days use and I had its stand chromed but had to send it back, learnt a lesson there - no modding until I know it will keep working. I have put off painting the PA for that very reason.
Sorry mate, I didnt keep a work log but I can tell you it started as a 3.6 kilo cast bronze pipe - 113mm in diameter and 140mm high - and it was as black as sin but I knew after machining it would look good. I had a engineer machine threads into the top and bottom and machine matching threads into 2 25mm thick acrylic blocks - not an easy thing to do but they came out awesome. I then spent about 10 hours sanding it smooth and polishing it. I have just noticed it is cold to touch when system is idling but after a good game session it is warmer so i guess it is a passive heatsink as well.
