You might want to get more airflow around your pwm ic and chipset, they're starting to get hot...Quote:

2.5 @ 1.3 is good in my book.Quote:

Was about to sell it till I saw your post.
My current X2 3800+ will only do 2500 at 1.65 on water.
Give her a little more juice and see if she'll fly.

Mine too, though not Primed as long as yours...Quote:

I'm a lucky bastard cause he is a Toledo Core :D
Stay Well ;)
Wow nice one! I'm limited by my RAM for now (Kingston Value RAM DDR 333 :stick:), but I'll up the vcore and see how high mine goes.Quote:

Although i'm not very happy cause i had to raise the vcore to 1.45 to make the system more stable i think, because at 1.4 he was giving blue screen.
Well this is the maximum that i can get from this mobo (301HTT) that i reached testing it.
Tomorrow i will test my rams, :D
Comment.
Stay Well ;)
great proc! is the stepping LCBIE (0624FPMW)? what's the batch #? where did you pick it up?Quote:

Saying that a X2 3800+ has core Toledo instead of Manchester, means that they have the new Core revision, better core, and that in the beggining they had 2x1mb cache L2 like X2 4400+ and X2 4800+, but they cut the cache to half, 2x512 = 1mb cache L2.Quote:

I'm positive that my CPU does a bit more than 3000mhz, he does 3000mhz at 1.45v, witch is good, but unfortunatly my mobo maximum HTT is 301, so......i will never now :slapass:

Now Toledo's are kicking ass almost like they are perfectly fine opterons made into 3800's to meet the new demand with price drops.
But yes Zone^55 is right on a technical level =) - just extending on some of the overclocking history of them.
Since my mobo's HTT maximum is 301, and my CPU has a lot more to offer (he is doing 3000mhz at 1.45v) do think that i should switch to a DFI mobo, maybe a DFI LP UT NF4 SLI-DR....or ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe.
I love my mobo, i really do, but she only does 300HTT...
What do you think? Will i be stupid for switching... will i lost performance??
Stay Well! ;)
Not worth switching board mate. 3Ghz is a good clock, u wont loose performance going to a DFI. Only gain mate. Keep your eye out ans there are many 939 boards going cheap due to Conroe.:p:
zone: how to tell from looking at box if it's toledo ?

So...it is better to stay with my mobo right?Quote:
