Mine is caa2c 0508APMW FYI. It will do a 2650 overclock running games fine.
Likwidkewl: There is no way your temps are accurate with that watercooled system. Your sensor is wrong like mine was. Let your system cool down overnight. Turn it on, immediately go into bios and check your system and power mgmt test against your cpu temps. Your cpu temps should only be a few degrees higher than the other 2. If All three read anything above 27c immediate then you know the probe is messed up. This way you can rule that out. If your cpu temps is more than 5c higher than the other 2 then: your reading is still not accurate. I get a 2-3c higher reading on the cpu at first boot:

cpu 26 c
after 5 minutes cpu is @ 31c
you can even downclock to 1000mhz to give it the benefit of the doubt. Try reflashing your bios with an older version and see if that corrects it. If not relash back to the new bios and check again. I found out my initial reading of 80c throttle with a warm stock cpu was at least some 20c higher than actual.
