Well, perhaps he's one of our older members and was born in 1926. That could be the reason for being afraid of not seeing the maximizer until he reaches his 80s and for not adding any smiley at the end of the sentence. :D

I'm afraid the demand for this sweet product will far out weigh the supply. Even after they ship it will likely be very difficult to get one.

Hipro... what are the chances of you making this pretty much mainstream... I mean for sale at places like newegg, zipzoomfly, Frozencpu ect.?? Or are we going to have to place order directly with your companies?

Also... where's the update? :stick: :D

i think it was a joke, because the release of this thing has been just around the corner for what seems like forever...

at this rate all of my high volt ram is going to be retired by the time its available.

ive went through two rigs since the day i saw this, my next one is going to have 4v vdimm, i still want a maximizer very much, but its taking a very long time hipro, its not your fault i know. and i certainly dont have a big problem with the wait but it is taking forever.

does DDR2 really need that much volts? With M2 socket approaching, DDR will be dead.

actually some DDR2 benifits from 2.8-2.9v even.

Micron Fatbody D9 comes to mind, this stuff will take 2.5v all day.

I'd say: We should stop all the talking about the delay. We all know that Hipro does his best to release the Maximizer as soon as possible, regardless of all the drawbacks he had and perhaps still has to suffer from. So let's just be patient and hope for the best. ;) I mean, we all know that he's one of the best. Our community needs poeple as persistent and as innovative as him. He needs the time so let's not complain about it. I think we can't even imagine the problems he was faced with.

I hope you understand what I mean. :)

I understand completely. My post was in responce to hipro5 acting like he doesnt know what people are talking about when the word delay is mentioned.

When someone starts some project that is going to be officially selled worldwide, then he'll see and understand what he will encode to accomplish that.......

After all, this is our first complete work for worldwide selling and we had to find “from the start” all the dealers, component equipments, paperwork, government, deals etc.......PLUS a LOT of difficulties......Now that we have found them all, our next projects will be a LOT easier and faster....... ;)

As for DDR2, the Maximizer can supply them up to 2.85 - 2.9Vdimm.......and yes they may need that much...... ;)
