Nice scores:clap:
Which PSU are you using?
I have used 2 different psu's, Antec 1200 and PCPower 1200
I dont think that is true, you can still use the slot 2, that is why they have spaced them apart so much, that way other cards will still fit. Look at Slikrig's setup, he has his "I believe" sound card in slot 2 and still running both VGA cards in x16 mode. Correct me if Im wrong but thats why the slots were placed so evenly and far apart, so that every slot could still be used even when using the original stock thick heatsink/fan setup you see on most graphics cards these days.
EDIT: Ok I think Im wrong, maybe the second card will run at x8 when you put a sound card into the slot 2. so it might look like this,
Slot 1: x16
Slot 2: x8
Slot 3: x8
slot 4: empty
Asus decided this board was going to be there contender to go up against the Classy, so they were not too caring about the PCI-E setup. I personally think they should have found the real estate for a NF200 setup.
What memory Are you using mate! Nice system!
nice CPU
I want that OC Panel...where do i get one?
why u need it for?
we dont 'need' it, we 'want' it
Hmmm... seems my computer doesn't like the latest NVIDIA BETA drivers. I was watching prime when all of a sudden my screen went into a black out fit and the driver stop responding several times until it finally BSOD with a "nv" error. Reinstalled the old drivers and it is running prime95 as sweet as ever. Makes me wonder if that was what was causing the problems earlier on.
Think the OC panel is a gift from asus, and not for sale. if im not mistaken
So 704 and LN2 is good or no?? :)
0704 is a mix for both worlds... maybe special benchers biosses will pop up like some other brand did...
I don't know exactly but I know it was related to the driver because whilst primeing the screen would go black, then reappear, then black out again, and it did this continuously and sometimes I got a glimpse of the "NVIDIA driver stopped responding" message. After which it BSOD, with "nv" and a driver path in the error code. After reinstalling the old drivers I can now prime with lower memory latencies than before.
This is using bios 602... So if 704 is wayyyy better I cant wait to see what this thing can do.. No cold bug... -170c lol!!!
While running benchmarks at close to 6.40gz I would get a memory management error every now and then.. Do you guys know what that is.. cheers!
