I'm anxious to see how much people using a K9A2 with a 920 will get. My 920 arrives tomorrow. I'm hoping for 3.5 with this board.

But BenBrown your chip didn't run at 1.25V on stock voltage right?
I thought AM3 CPUs were supposed to have that instead... or maybe it's just constrained to the 945.
Hello again!
I finally managed to get my Windows x32 install to a SSD drive! Experiment went successful and this is what I was able to come up with:
Close to max. AIR clock:
4200MHz@1.58V

Above run settings: NB 11x; HTT 200MHz; AIR TT 120 Ultra + 12cm FAN 1200RPM
This is fairly stable (1h benching and playing around), I will try to prime it tomorrow.

first of all, great results you all got there with those pii's.
i'm at a point where the CPU test from occt runs fine for an hour.
the ram and mix crash after a while, BUT:
if i lower the multi of the cpu and just the it,nothing else, ram and mix mode run fine too?!
raising the vcore doesn't give a better result. i just don't get it.
can anyone using the m3a79-t deluxe post his complete bios settings from htt to sbvolts?
Lightman is that board you are using the same as my M3A78-T board?
Nice OC Lightman: 0848FPAW here

i got to admit, it is allways something i missed in this board im using (AX78) the annoying thing is that it states that the nb multi is there in the manual,
must have made the manual before the bios, as its not
cant wait to get the crosshair II, WHERE ARE YOU? DAMN POSTAGE
sorry for beeing new to amd/phenom oc'ing and asking such questions ;-) i came right from intel p965/core2 to my first amd platform.
i have found out that raising the vcore will bring stability for high northbridge clocks (>2700mhz),
while i can change the processor-nb volts from 1.35 to 1.5 without any influence on the nb stability.
is there something wrong with my board or cpu or is it the same for you?
well i cant seem to figure out what my voltages and settings need to be on this board to get my 940 stable. Here is some screen shots of my bios and hopefully you guys can help me get this under control. Ive only been overclocking intel CPUs for the past 2 years and coming back to AMD makes me feel noobish again.

Got my CPU now: 0841GPMW
Time to install it with my new Cooler Master V8 and have some fun :D
@Fizur2002:
You must check/set your DRAM-speed to manual to verify the current "divider".
At present you have no control over the resulting DRAM-speed vs HTT(FSB).
Since you've got a 940 I see no point in "fiddling" with HTT(FSB).
Just let everything exept VCore/MP be "Auto" to find the OC-potential for your "chip".
