If a temp monitoring program can cause that while your CPU is OC'd but not at stock... then it's unstable.
Could you try it at stock too? Thx

I have an issue
I set to 8 threads, 64mb in 64bit mode and it errors everytime
if a run linx with whatever settings including those it goes right thru?
LMK if you need more infos
try 16 threads. :D worked on mine

I will not pretend to know why :p but 16 threads fixed it, it would error out right out the door with 8 threads. all 8 threads maxed right now and no issue in 64bit mode.
was passing linx without issues in 64 bit with any problem size in linx so I was starting to wonder....
3.8ghz 19x200 HT ON 1.2vcore bios set (1.158 cpuz) 1.2qpi and 1.1 IOH 1.64 vdimm 7-7-7-24 1T is now IBT stable as linx stable
THANKS !
My post, with pic was at stock, I tried a quad 9450 overclocked and at stock, 64mb mem 16 threads, all worked great.
8 threads with beta failed 64mb, and maximum mem with both stock CPU or overclocked CPU. edit sorry 8 threads on standard does work. 128mb seems to be working fine on 8 threads also.
you need me to test i7 920 stock clocks with 8 threads 64bit mode 64mb? turbo off or on?
i7 stock 64mb ram 8 threads = fail
i7 stock standard ram 8 threads = pass
i7 stock maximum ram 8 threads = fail
i7 stock 128 mb ram 8 threads = pass
i7 stock tried all above 16 threads = pass
i7 OC same results as above
9450 quad stock same as above except failed on standard also
9450 OC same as above
tested 2 other i7's same results as first i7
Hope this makes it clearer.
Yes it does, thank you again for your contribution :)
Looks like the new Linpack binary (created by Intel in April 2009) doesn't like certain test size combinations with 8 threads.
So the conclusion is: 16 threads for single Core i7 w/ HT, 32 threads for dual Nehalem servers, and "Auto" for everything else, yields the most accurate results :)
Ah ok,
Because i get failure with 8 threads every time, at more than standard.
Before i was Testing with 2x 2.0 to get 100% load and every test was fine.
Why i can't burning with a shortcut of v2.1?
With v1.9 i got no problems with burning from a shortcut.
Thanks.
BTW, the software work great for me with E8400 CO at overclock.
Great software, i love here.. you only with her to burn my cpu :P
Great program for testing!

Damn, first time I see my CPU temps reach 75C!!! LOL! I only reach around 65-68C on Prime95.

I downloaded the new version and I'm getting this error message:

Any help? I'm running Windows XP x64 here and I have a Q9650.
^^ Tried that, still didn't work. WTF? Any more suggestions?
guys, I'm a little confused here, how many threads and what settings do I test an i7 setup? Should I disable ht before testing? Things were so easy with my e8400 = )
Hello.
I got a weird problem with the program. The program version i'm currently using is 2.1. So, here's the situation: no matter what options i choose for number of test, threads or memory amount, as soon as i click the 'start' button i get the message that i have passed the test successfully. For example, i choose 100 tests, 2 threads and 2000mb or ram, the moment i hit 'start' i get 'Success! Your system has been able to maintain stability...'. And that's everytime, no matter the chosen settings. I'm using vista ultimate 64bit.
