I posted a submission and I am sure it put us way over the top.
Was good to see XtremeSystems on the front page and with a little more help move up the rankings faster.
Grats guys, I will ask Mike to get busy again.

Grats guys, I will ask Mike to get busy again.
wow charles you came to the thread :D
that will definitely motivate the team, wooohoooo
Fugger submitting again?!?! What a year this has been, first Duke Nukem, now this :D
My first (and tiny) contribution:
http://i55.tinypic.com/4trmdd.jpg
More of these to come.
I have 3 case mods planned that I need hardware for. I simply can't justify hardware closer to my gaming rig, but I can bench & push lower end hardware and pick up a lot of points.
Gives me more an appreciation for these lover end GPUs/CPUs floating around. Anyone can OC a 2500k/2600k, but what about lower end T/S versions? :D
Sorry to double post, but i wanted to ask here instead of making another thread and just fil up the forum uncessarily.
Question: Why is there no SB Xeon listing on HWBot?
I can't find any E3 1220 to 1280 if I type it in to search. I was going to pick up a 2400S as no one benches these, but I came across a cheap Xeon and wanted to push BCLK on my ASRock Extreme 4.
you or our captains can request specific hw to be added
keep benching :D
Great.
you can do it here killer : http://www.hwbot.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=44
Well, i'm not as hardcore as most of you guys here. I'm not willing to kill a chip or degrade it. I don't have that type of disposable income. My i7 2600k will net 0.1 from superPi32M. The Xeno will net 2 points per category. That'll boost the team more than 0.1 for an average overclock. Plus, obscure cards / cpus are a little more interesting to me.
You guys have more skill to reach the hard stuff.
You have to keep in mind that only 10% of the hardware points are counting for the team's score, team power points is where it's at now, those are counting for the team 100%. Rarely benched hardware can be fun of course, but those categories won't have team power points most of the time, so I'd recommend to look for some other hardware that is a bit more popular but can still be benched with the system on air, think Geforce 6 series for example. :)
Thanks for the heads up.
I got the xeon anyways. $340 cpu for $199. I can't beat that. Like I said, I wanted to have some fun. And it's going in a hackintosh/windows/linux machine. I needed lower watts for 24/7.
Anyways. I've been benching my rig. I eared a few real points today. Going to update the bios and see if I can break 12511 for 2600K/570SLI.
I really appreace the help guys. I'll lurk ebay for an older 6 series soon!
I think all of us started benching our normal hardware, and none of us started on LN2 as well. :)
You should run all the benches, and especially also single card with your 570, because more competitors also mean more points!
Can you mod your cards? That would help a lot on many of the older/low end cards.
I noticed we lost 200 points today.... Back to 11th place. :(
oops lol
nooo way
freebie for team.xs members:
evga frostbite..unopened + 1 halfway
tested one..its ok i guess. lmao
shipping is on YOU.
No idea!
What do you think about it? I read the thread about it when it was released, and almost everyone was complaining about Arctic Ceramique.
I used Arctic Ceramique during my LN2 session and thought it was ok, it did not freeze even on the -190°C Celeron suicide runs.
Is it that much better? Or any better at all?
ceramique is ok .but lacks fillers...when colder than -150c the delta of pot and ihs...you get the picture. note* this paste needs heat to adjust from surface-surface. its still good.
frostbite has very good viscousity..it spreads perfectly..without a stolen credit card... freezes rather early than i would like. compared to ceramique, ceramique freezes at a colder temp.
^ Thanks for the info! :)

Well done guys, back to 10th!
we lost a top5 guy...i forgot who was in top5...drats
I'm sorry, guys
playwares hardware site, is my new job.
I had no choice.:shakes:
After the help and support I gave him, he just drops out without even a goodbye?
http://hwbot.org/user/namegt/
:shakes:
Ahh well.
You can't leave up your points that you made with US and make a new profile testing new hardware with your job or something like that?
Example.
We worked as a team I never ran Wprime 32M or 1024M or Superpi32M on my 2500K because you got good scores to count for out team.
Now the chip is sold so since you left I can't make it up.
Edit: Looks like Mr. Safedisk left too for this team. :(
i'm (sincerely) sorry that i have not told you about my transfer beforehand
It was unexpected job offer for me (kind of abrupt) and i thought it could be a good opportunity.
However, Playwares wants me to work on.. as a member of it.. i mean as an employer..
I like XS team very much, i don't want to leave and i would not leave if i could.. (if possible)
but i have no choice but to be dropped from the team
as i say above, as a employer..
the owner of Playwares, my boss, doesn't want me to work on another team.
so i cannot help deciding to change my team from XS to Playwares
So you guys plz understand me with generosity
"Linuxfan" I am most sorry for you
Namegt its fine, life>hobby
good luck:up:
Good luck for your new team, namegt.
Whats a retired bencher do when he's bored?
Build a killer daily gamer that can bench with the best of them :D
Got to 5200+ with 16g ram installed, then I said screw and grabbed a set to bench with real quick.
Quite a bit of room left in this score, had antivirus etc etc. A better cpu would not hurt either at least with 4 way.

submit submit :))
dang thats a nice rig...my rig is a 95watt celeron :))
heats up the room kinda toasty lol
Nice work guys! :)
Congrats for your new score Hondacity!
well done Mr Zen!
"nice" daily driver Brian, very clean cable management.
*"nice" being a gross understatement being thats a 4th place global run. very well done indeed aesthetically and score.
are those the 8gb gskills i spy?
any hints to UCBench2011? OS choice?
answer to pm :D
thanks team.xs
sorry my inbox got full.... :D
don_dan please forward your sentbox to me :D
danke schon
Resent my PM! ;)
If you haven't done so already, please check out Hondacity's new Heaven DX11 score! WR for single card!
PS: Your inbox is full again! :p:
Donny I saw Uncle Bob's results. I'm so proud of him. If you have been wondering what the hell TA is doing. I've been playing a lot of pr. bf2 mod and working. still waiting for the bulldozer crap to roll out in sept.
Keep it up guys! I check in once a week to see what the team has been up to. I miss you guys.
sorry inbox got full lol
thanks transam...good to know you still in the game...
5days in a hotel....so what do i dooooo
i was gonna attach the pic of my setup now..but me don't have a sdhc to usb adapter """F***********CK""
testing cpu1: 6320 @ 1.651ghz....lol
setfsb check
turbo ...x6 """"F********CK"""
i had small surges earlier lmao...i guess ss was a good idea..to be not broght..maybe breaker here is not good in hotel
any x48 gurus? calling capt Don_Dan - oi got msn/skype/ym?
475mhz base clock on the 6320, she's my torture chip...before i put the 6300 in..:D
GTL settings? please don't say "auto" LOL
I got skype, yeah.
Auto worked quite well for me.... :D
What are your voltage settings? Even on my bad E6300 I reached 500MHz FSB on air easily, but it only did 515MHz on LN2...
You have to keep in mind though, that there are some really bad chips out there as well, my first E6600 was hardly able to clock the FSB over 400MHz.
LOL auto!
I only have skype at home lol, no skype with my work laptop.
they have block scripts against skype.
I guess no need to toast the northbridge with high voltage.
I'll try the other chips on air tonight, maybe some of them can do higher fsb.
Aircooling in front of the aircon...17C FTW :))
bring a bench rig and find a grocery store with dice.
i brought my ln2 dewar(20L left)....hahahah wish i can show pics..but i can't coz my sdhc adapter is missing
What's your Vnb? Did you change the thermal compound under the stock NB heatsink? Or are you even using after-market coolers for NB/SB?
Are you using Hypers or D9s?
stock cooler at the moment...i forgot one heatsink for the sbridge. so i'll stick with stock cooler. nb heatsink is @ 24C @ 1.65v lol
one d9 kit from xtreem...6 more cpus then off to ln2 land.
i also found my ln2 supplier outlet... its near the machine shop which is machining my pot...woooo
I never went over 1.55-1.60V even for 600MHz+ FSB. Is that heatsink or chip temperature? Please try again at, say, 1.50V Vnb, my NB was quickly overheating at more than 1.60V and losing stabiliy even under light load.
I repasted my heatsinks with the non solid chunks that asus normally uses lol..so i think the temps are fine. yeah i'll lower the vnb..might help with the other chps lol
found out that my printer has an sdhc port
woot ...Attachment 118235
^you still in the hotel and benching? wish I could do that in our motels here lol!
hahhaha i gotta do it ....it'd be useless buying hardware hahaha
thanks to my van, i can carry most of my hardware hahaha
:D
**imaging hd, backup drives needed once setfsb is involved lol
880MHz 7-8-8-24?! What's up with your memory? :p: :D
Which strap are you using?
im using 400, its the tightest comparing 333 & 266 & 400. the e6850 is a joke lol
the heavy pot im using is a breeze...i don't even have to pour like 30 times a minute...lol
oh yeah notes:
1. boot 520mhz low cpu multi, low memory multi
2. 528 stable... 529mhz freeze
3. change multis, no change,
4. change voltages, no change
5. conclusion: pos cpu :-))
400 is the loosest strap, and the 3:5 divider on that strap is bugged, it's 2:3 in reality. 266 strap is probably the tightest, the way you're running now you're losing lots of efficiency because of the low memory clock and slack MCH timings. I'd only use 400 3:5 if you're well over 600MHz FSB and your board can't run 266 2:3 anymore. Try to use 333 5:8 now please, and did you try timings like 7-6-5 or at least 7-7-6?
Did you test which strap your board preferres? Mine seems to favour the 333 strap, but it hates the 266 unfortunately.
Which chip is next?
e8500 is next... 15L to go..
That's a good choice, no one on the team has taken care of it yet. 600MHz FSB on air done yet?
no numbers yet...shoould be fun and fast...
Do you have some results? Did the chip cooperate? ^^
Are you guys ready for a very old benchmark? Try Aquamark v2.1 for the challenge at hwbot.org! :)
something popped' last night, and im further away from the house..im almost in Utah lol
e8500 was suspected dead prior so could be cpu, could be mobo.
hopefully i get enough ln2 before sunday hits.
Too bad that didn't work out well. It would be a shame to lose such a mainboard! :(
i have backup p5e3Premium :D
so i drove 1400miles yesterday just to get a spare lightning(@ home)(and grabbed my empty dewar, refill friday before they close)....thats 2240kilometers
hahahhaha i have no sleep yet....work is done....house is 500miles away...
when i get back home...i driven 1900miles in two days...thats 3040kilometers when i get back home ...i think i need a 4hour sleep before i drive 7hours..lol
note to self:
1. pick up modified pot
2. 50L ln2
oh yeah its friday b*tches, you guys better bench :D
Room service attendant at my hotel freaked out when she saw a bunch of electronic devices with cords around it. Lol
lol, I'd be curious too if a guest had too many things inside their room. especially that funky looking dewar,l and the guest had the privacy tag outside the door for many days lol.
I take back my comments regarding the evga "frostbite"
I've retested it and its ok :)
thus freebie gone...
just removing mis-info about it. :)
http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/1...ust4th2011.jpg
Nice work Mateusz, and happy birthday! :bday:
Sto lat! :)
yeahhhhh :D
happy birthday uncle!!!
what gpu is that? is that an intelvidia gpu? lol
Thanks guys  I also got myself a birthday gulftown session, which might get extended to a proper hwboints run next week.
Anyone preparing anything for the Aquamark 2.1 challenge?
i'll be practicing 4ghz sp32m...and some gulftown this weekend.
that am2.1 looks fun, i'll prolly look into that.
Don_Dan
Thanks, but I just edited my own version :D
I have more Hex into it. but it was useless hex ..lol
I ran it once on my laptop just for fun, but I don't think 74.6fps is good enough for the Intel + NVidia stage. :D
I don't have time to do any more testing right now, someone with a 2600k and a GTX580 will score way higher than what I can achieve with my hardware anyway. It would be nice to see us take part in a competition again.
http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/2...ust8th2011.jpg
Nice runs Hondacity!
Thanks Captain D
I have a bottleneck of 118mhz pcie, not sure if its the hd or the videocard.
Yes, well done Mr. Honda, 118 pcie is very good - i thought pcie only helped in pcmark, my bad.
pcie helps with bclk on x58 and i7-920
chew* also had this problem with pcie with the x58a0c
interesting....even lsdmeasap max pcie is 120mhz on the x58aoc
Nice 920 Honda!
What cb and vcore in 1024M?
cb was -110c(screen freeze)
vcore was 1.61-1.63v i don't remember.
tim was gelid :D
Nice 920 runs Honda:up:
ive got a few random tim's coming in that will be tested this weekend (ln2)
any recommendations honda for a tim that doesnt craze? I know apezion n kinda sucks because its not really optimized as a tim as its a vaccume grease primarily, and its freezing properties are advertised as a feature.. I would like to try cryo-supercon or cryo-hypercon, as its advertised not to freeze but i cant find anybody stateside who has it.
@slaveondope i think its the board lol
@Zen your wish is my script, its just the gelid xtreme, i got 4 tubes coming from mwave.com
don't get the apeizon, its a grease for lubing, not really for heat transfer.
Nice score buddy!
What's the max clock of your chip for 1M and 32M?
Thanks :)
Not tested yet for anything other than AM3. I'm not done with AM3 yet (not reached polish high score), everything in due time :)
Sounds great, you found a nice chip for sure, I'm waiting for some more scores then! :)
Good luck!
Ok, I'm done with Aquamark for now: http://hwbot.org/submission/2199861_...0_458483_marks
Time to refill the dewar and try other benchmarks :)
man that am3 is flying! nice work
Thanks!
http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/737...august18th.jpg
Well done guys!
Very strong clock for 1M on that 990X!
Lol I'm embarassed with that score :) Yotomeczek ran it for sh*ts and giggles after we took the AM3 screenshot. It will be redone in proper OS with proper tweaks :)
