I have that CPU stepping, and its doing 2.7Ghz at 1.50-1.52v (burning in at that speed at 1.46v now). It doesn't seem to be the best stepping, but its not a really bad one either. I'd consider anything above 2.7Ghz on air to be a good OCer, especially considering the later weeks aren't doing as well. :)Quote:

My next chip is batch # 0534 so we'll see how it does when i test it out later tonight
if i used 1.64 volts or so i don't think i would have any problems with getting a suicide shot of ~3.01 Ghz.

Seems from reading about that my 3200+ LBBLE 0517 GPPW might not be too good, as anything 'GXXX' seems pretty poor in comparison.

Someone did 1.69V for 24 hours of prime on air? Sounds a little on the high side... with that many volts i'd probably do 24 hours at 2.9 Ghz ;)Quote:

With a ambient of 24C the CPU never got above 40C load which I consider pretty safe :) I can only bench at 2.9ghz and then volts dont help anymore just cooler ambient temps...why does it have to be so hot outside :( BTW 24C was at like 5AM so it was like the coolest part of the day hahaha
I just got my 3rd venice, 0519CPJW, it sucks more than my 2 previous steppings the 0516EPGW AND 0516EPEW. 2.6ghz Max at 1.56v prime stable is the most I'm getting with the 0519CPJW. It's a 3200+ venice from zipzoomfly, heed my warning and stay away.
OMG, my 2nd APJW sucks hard....
I set it straight to 9x300 thinking it would do it easily with 1.45 volts. Wrong, i had to raise voltage twice to even get into windows, and then it was doing 1.52 volts.
Long story short, i just ran prime95 with 1.52 volts at 2.60 Ghz and it failed in 3 minutes
i triple checked all my bios settings!?! It's my other week 17 APJW but for some reason it is TERRIBLE.

yea don't expect much with your week 19 venice. my week 19 3200 venice can't and won't do 2800Mhz no matter what vcore i throw at it :(. i need a cure for my oc addiction :). trying to find a venice that can do 2800Mhz on air and stable is costing me mucho dineros :(.
No, it's really nothing. Absolute's problem IMO, is his PSU. Since he's local to me, I thought I'd try to see if I could help him out at the same time clear some old hw out... ;)Quote:
