God I hope that Sparco comes through for me here...I don't know how much longer I can stand to wait...I'm seriously thinking about returning this mobo and picking up a P4/mobo combo instead because I'm tired of waiting... :slap: :slap:
I'm looking for a used 3500+ winnie as I speak. Fvck it... :soap:
i think they are just basing that off monarch
good lord....I hope spacro won't delay any longer! :shocked:Quote:

hallowed, that's for the E4 (San Diego) I believe. I'm not a hundred percent sure, but I think anandtech is talking about San Diego's release according to Monarch, not Venice which I believe is E3.
I'm geting very confused with all that Athlon64 :( 2 days ago I din't see any 3500 Sandiego, and now ya guys talking about 3500 Sandiego, it doesn't make any sense that 3500 Sandiego   the Venice and Sandigo are the same CPU-core, the only diffrent is Venice have 512-L2-cache, and Sandigo have 1024-L2-cache, now we have the 3500 venice with 2.2Ghz and 512-L2-cache, and we have the 3700 Sandigo which have 2.2Ghz and 1024 L2-cache, if really AMD realease an 3500 Sandiego, what's the diffrent of this model and the 3500 Venice ? I would like to heard something that make sense :argue: :hm: :hrhr:
You got it  they was talking about E4 Sandiego,(realease in May-4th) the Venice E3 should be avalable the April-22th or24th :slobber: :toast:Quote:

Just called Sparco, they said they could be in the warehouse, but since the warehouses are so huge they haven't been scanned in yet. They will know better tommorow if they have them and if they don't they will get a new date from AMD tommorow. By the way, apparently people have been calling them all day asking about the status, they were very nice though.. :)
I have a 3500 Venice on backorder..
Yeah...I got about the same thing from the Sparco Rep when I just called as well...they've been taking calls (probably mostly from XS people ha!) all day in regards to the shipment comming in...said they've called out to the warehouse a couple times to check status and while they didn't confirm delivery of these chips specifically their warehouse said they got all the expected shipments in today, and is working on processing them, and scanning them in...Rep seemed optimistic, said I should expect my 3700+ to ship from the warehouse tomorrow, but to check back tomorrow afternoon to confirm
Guess we'll find out tomorrow...not getting worried about it yet, seems a logical enough explanation for everything so far /shrug
Personaly, I think in about 2 or 3 more days, we all gona be able to get our hands on the Venice core   :toast:
Just because it's a San Diego it doesn't mean that it have all 1024 kB L2 cache enabled, I thought everybody knew this by now... :stick:Quote:

There is no difference between the two except one is sandy core and one is venice core. same clock and cache. btw, how much are you willing to bet?
I'm new here but so far I've seen the exact same question being asked repeatedly regarding the 3500 San Diego, the theories and answers can be found on both this and the Prepare for San Diego thread, maybe someone ought to put a sticky with the title "3500 San Diego detail" or something to help fellow members who refused to or didn't have time to read through these long thread??
I'm tire of AMD with all they stepping :( it just pissed me off  I think I just let it go :bows: :woot:
Buy Intel :rolleyes:Quote:
