Is there a way to set HTT to 3.5x on this mainboard ?
I think bios 310p has a bug on it. I've used the bios with 2 motherboards and got the same results. When using 310p, I couldnt install RAID. I changed back to 310 and install no problem.
What´s the best bios for OCZ PC3200 REV2 ??????
All of suden 3DMARK 2001SE crashed at 280*9 and X800XL default....omg wtf ?
I got a problem. During the OS installation (Win2K) the system searches for components (the screen where also stands "the screen may flash/turn black") and the bar freezes.
FX-55, OCZ PS 520W, X850, 2x256 BH5
Same prob ?! http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/show...8&postcount=19
Few questions:
3dmark 2001se crashed every time , doesnt matter what frequency
tried 250*9 / 280*9 / 300*9
3dmark 2003 it's ok...wtf is wrong

Bounced the board around a bit, and it works now.
Don't know why, as everything is tight.
Bad solder joint maybe.....
Is there any link with a BIOS collection for the NF4 Ultra-D ?
I received my board last monday, and have been running with my Enermax 470W SFMA ATX 1.3 PSU 20-pin without problems. Voltages are good and stable, system is stable.
The chipset runs a bit hot heh? Specially because its so badly placed, my 6800GT blocks partially the airflow, and it touches the plastic casing of the chipset cooler.
Put a fan blowing into the chipset fan, don't know if its just cosmetic change, but temperature dropped 7ºC
now at idle, system is ATM CPU 31ºC PWM 35ºC and chipset 47ºC
I just don't get it :
- ran memtest#5 and 8 for hours NO ERRORS
- ran prime95 for hours NO ERRORS
- ran superpi 16&32MB NO ERRORS
And still i get random freezing or reboots on some aplications....like opening IE/OE or doing more stuff at once....
Can it be that i have XP SP2 installed ? Should i try only XP SP1 ?

Careful : using the Marvel ethernet I had to drop down my overclocking a LOT cause everything went unstable.
(I prefer to leave it disable in GENIE bios and have better OC).
c. something else.
good luck.
exactly similar to my IDE SW driver problem. I had to uninstall it.Quote:

a. I'm using also SATA so how do i uninstall IDE SW which i don't need, right ?
b. I'm using Marvel yes...and nvida is disabled
will try other drivers.
Guys,
Is anyone having a problem with the NVidia SM Bus driver? Is it even necessary. All my IRQ_LESS_THAN_NOT_EQUAL_TO errors (BSOD errors) have a line telling me that the SM_BUS driver could have problems.
Can I do without the system managed bus driver? I'm getting tired of the junk NVidia software. First it was the IDE Driver, now this.
try increasing chipset voltage and ldt voltage one notch (from default)...NV drivers do NOT make problems for me *EXCEPT* that s/w IDE drivers which i finally uninstalled becuse i had issues. Nvidia s/w ide drivers are evil !Quote:

Could it be my PSU ?
how much W does X800XL needs??
hi, guys
i got a problem with my sli-d lanparty, and its the only one remaining still unsolved
in the bios sometimes after a few time the voltages of the: cpu, ram , ldt chipset etc.. won't change the voltage, until i turn off my pc and the power psu switch is off.. then i wait 5 seconds turned on both again, and walaaaa!! my voltages change..
anyone having the same problem?? cause its kind of annoying to do that every time i try the overclock ..
i have used the last march bios and now testing a beta one of april 14th..
thanx in advance for your support :p:
later
Now the board won't boot in either slot....
This is getting really old. :slapass:
Mobo or proc turned against me...
:banana::banana::banana::banana:ing not stable anymore 240+ neverthelss i :banana::banana::banana::banana:ing try....
1.4-1.6vcore zip....superpi error...wtf is wrong
not enough power psu ?
Tedy try clearing cmos.
My board is actually running now ( ya may have seen my rant at DFI-street), and the only way it would run right is I had to kep clearing cmos , I bet I cleared it 50x, short and long intervals.
It wouldn't run at all, or barely run.
Right now I am priming 295x9, primed 290 for 2 1/2 hrs( stock hsf/3000+ winny).
I kept reseating ram/ swapping slots and clearing cmos to get it going again..
I am not clocking with clockgen anymore, I am using the bios and booting these speeds, as I think my clockgen may have become corrupt or something stupid like that ( I will reinstall it).
I saw your post at DFI-Street, but I didnt say anything, as I am not sure whats up.

did you put cmos batery out or just switched pin as in manual ?
