2000 MR2 spyder
Intake, exhaust, bracing, rota group'n, audio etc.
Hoping to swap in a 2zz early next year.
nice. im not into american cars. hardly any appeal to me. too big, heavy and dont handle well
my 2 favourite baby's were a M3 & a Scooby WRX. The M3 for luxury and the scooby for driving (basic interior apart from bucket seats). before you comment on the ugly twin headlights, i had them removed as soon as i found a standard pair on ebay.

Old and new ride.

Passat 3B 1.8T (Tiptronic) // Golf + 1.4 TSI (DSG)
vw are good cars. i have a Passat TDi sport at the moment, 130bhp model
unfortunately after owning a vw your standards are raised and i find i shun alot of cars now
I can't wait till I get a car :(
The 2zz is a fairly common swap, but I feel the motor is a little overpriced and would rather drop in a V6 or a k20. ATM there are no swap kits besides the 2zz :(
Wheels are 15's on Toyo T1-R's 185 F/ 205 R. Wanted it keep the roll mass light.
Stock Struts w/ Eibach Pro-kits (1.2 drop). Looking into a k-sport or Tein SS-P setup next spring.
Right, VW is very good.
BTW: My Golf + (comfortline) has 140hp. :D
I know that, but our family drives only VW, we have nearly all from the EOS up to the Passat. :D
My favorite car is a Audi A6, but it's still too expensive (now). :(

dang u guys have some nice cars! i couldentt afford the tires let alone the hole thing lol i do have a funny story though, i bought my sisters 1991 oldsmobile royal 88 a hour after i got it the starter died...
Good cars are cheap man! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1979-...QQcmdZViewItem
That car is only 3k.... XD
Very good cars.
You are lucky, new cars here are very expensive. A 320d starts at 43 k € ( about 60 k dollars!)
cheap! ha - come to the uk
we're robbed 24% tax on your wages unless you earn over 38k then you pay 40% tax.. then there's compulsory national insurance which is another few %
our government are a bunch of robbing wh0res!! besides water, electic, gas, internet, phone, tv channels etc you got:
-a yearly tax to keep a car on the road - 390 dollors
-have to pay council tax TO LIVE under a roof - approx 220 dollors a month
-17.5% tax or VAT on whatever i buy
-even have to pay for a license to own and use a TV!!! 215 dollors and that only gives you 4 free tv channels!!!
-and there is 81% tax on fuel!!!
as an example .. it costs me £55 to fill my 13 gallon fuel tank, which at the current exchange rate is 112 dollors. the passat is giving me 48-63mpg depending where and how i drive. think thats expensive? the silver wrx you can see above was doing approx 4-12 mpg because the previous owner blew £6k or over 12k dollors making the engine drink fuel, but greatfully faster. i was going through over £120 of fuel a week with the scooby, thats an upsetting 245 dollors a week
just so you know i am looking to emigrate!
not really, alot of places arent as bad as the uk. there's plenty of places where the tax is very reasonable comapred to the uk, and there are many of places deemed tax haven's because the living is so cheap by the countries standards.
if i sold all my stuff and moved to canada i could buy a house, a tidy car and be financially comfortable for a good while before considering a job. the british pound is even stronger against the canadian dollor. even moving the to us i would be much better off.
moving from the uk with some cash typically puts you in a good position abroad. its just more appealing
