Only thing I can think of is that the intel storage driver somehow switches the controller to raid mode, or it does some form of software raid. In the bios, the drives show up as two separate devices and its certainly set to ahci rather than raid.
Also, my reasoning for installing in ahci mode was due to that I could always install the raid driver in windows, and just enable it in the bios. However, if I do that, it gives the same bsod as it did on my old os install. It works, however, so I'm not too concerned with that.
Does anyone know how many RIVE revisions there are and the differences between them? I have a 1.02.
What is your VCSSA on?

Shut down the computer then press the bios switch, you should then boot from other bios. If ctr I freezes the mobo then you night have bad raid or bad hardware or prtitions.

With 0013 it won't even post the Intel RAID Bios even when raid is set in the UEFI. I switched the BIOS over to the original shipped BIOS and Raid BIOS is coming up now. Not sure why it is disabled in 0013.Quote:
