you should read the previous pages regarding about the DDR configuration settings.

ok guys thanks the ram now passed 475:D
1 more thing core temp does not work with my pc .when i load it it up it just stays at 18C and doesnt more.
anyone know anything about this.
ya but if you read the previous couple pages, many people having success if you put your settings like this:
DDR Configuration = Mode 3
GTL+ Driving Strength = Mode 2
Enhanced Data Transmitting = auto
Enhanced Addressing = auto
DQ Calibration: Auto
Channel 1/2 CLK Fine Delay = Auto/Auto
and increase VTT to 1.36v
hi!
Someone can post here his PC2-6400 FirestixFSX800D2C-K2G settings ?
My cpu did 3.820 on RD600(winter assisted) 3720 on evga, BFG, & 3631 on p5B Deluxe. So far I've only gotten 3730 to pass 12 hours orthos on this board. To eliminate my memory as the reason prime fails in 2 -3 hours, I ran memtest for a few hours. After an 8 hour pass @ the same settings that failed prime, I've decided either the board needs more tweaking or the cpu too hot. I'm thinking its the cpu heat. Anyway, have you tested your memory with memtest to see if you get errors? If it doesn't chances are u either need to tweak the board some more or you've reached the limit of your cpu.
I have the same problem and I RMA the board because, with default settings in bios but with 2,0 or 2,1 vdimm in my GSKILL DDR800 HZ my systems reboot in Orthos at one or two minutes.
The technician is testing my system and he told me that he test the system with other memory (TeamXtreem) and the system runs fine. I don't think that the problem is RAM because I'm sure that it runs in other motheboard very well ( ASUS P5W DH Deluxe ). I think the probelm is that motheboard.
I'm thinking seriously to buy a Gigabyte P35 DS4.
sorry by my bad English.
it's not the board...
i am finally stable @ 525x8
1.48vcore
2.22vdimm 4 4 4 9 4 30 2 10 10 2 8 6 5 5 4 4
1.5vtt
without reboots.
I don't think its the board either. I think its just picky with certain micron d9's trying to determine which now. Micron D9GKX (B6-25E) seem to be most successful, followed by Micron D9GMH (B6-3). I'm wondering if its the PCB used. Doom what were the rest of the memory settings? auto auto Fast Fast auto auto?
Okay but did you test with memtest or run prime again? A failed prime blend can be a problem with memory settings, voltage, or cpu. I always run memtest to rule out memory issues or run FTT's instead of blend. If your system will loop memtest #5 for 8 hours or so, then chances are your cpu need more volts or has reached its ceiling. Secondly you could simply need additional voltage in other areas such as cpu-vtt or nb core.
Well my DFI P965-S Dark is uninstalled and my new Asus P5k Deluxe is up and installing XP64. If anyone wants a DFI P965 let me know cause it's hitting eBay soon.
burningrave101 what ram did u try with your board?
I am sorry..I was not real concerned on the cpu overclock..the chips is not great..best maybe 3500..
I was just perplexed at ram (Crucial Ballistix DDR1000).....I expected at 380 fsb it would easily be stable at 2.0v....but with auto settings it sets to 4-4-4 at 2.0v this is a no go...
in fact I am still testing but 380 1:1 5-5-5 looks to need 2.05-2.1 v
Now I have not tweaked the settings...but I did not think 380 fsb at 1:1 would be a tight enough latency to cause issues
I am not blaming the mobo or my cpu...just really surprised..I guess I expected too much based on my ignorance
What I remember of my crucials compared to my g. Skills was their default voltage is 2.2 for their entire Ballistix line. I would not think that under 2.1 would be possibe @ any frequency above PC2-5300. You are simply undervolting your ram, thus it's failing.
I am comming to that conclusion
My 10th anniv runs DDR780 4-4-4-12 at 2.0v..so I had hoped the Ballistix would undervolt at DDR760....but it appears I am asking too much of the ram
I just tried DDR 952 5-5-5-15-30 at 2.2v(mobo delivers only 2.2v by DMM)
..man these stick get real hot at 2.2v...with Prime running
