That surely cannot be official pricing but pre-order rip you off pricing eh? You could get two GTX580s for SLI with water blocks for the same price as that custom fan Gigabyte 590.
Lmao thought it would be expensive... But..... Wow.... Epic fail
why are those pictures in so terrible image quality?
ultimate photoshop fail? ^^
the first look "ok ", outside the price ... but second is a fake " informations listed are completely contradict themselve, you have a GTX580 photos, then it's write GTX580, then GTX590 ..
The last one is too a fake, this card don't exist and is a photoshop work ( 2fans and 3 PCI ex connectors lol ), this was someone who have make a joke creating this "590" screenshot.
If peoples know thoses shop i will be really clear: Scam alert, never buy something on thoses sites..
that is no photoshop, i just compressed them to meet XS attached file-size restrictions. If don't like the quality, follow the links to see the info. the point was to show prices, and other info., not the picture of the cards itself ;)
Regardless trustworthy of those e-stores, agree - Scam alert.
I'm a frequent customer at CentreCom and yeah that price is just insane, and why did they use a misleading picture of the Gigabyte GTX 590?
And where are the reviews? Is the NDA on the 24th or something?
if thats really the clocks with 612mhz then that is the stupidest card ive seen in a long time. they took a POS gf100 ROP starved worst gpu of the decade then doubled it up with an underclock when they had the perfectly good gf104 that would be lower wattage and the same clock*shader with stock fully unlocked gf104 and that one is not starved for ROPs. dose benching really mean that much that they would put this trash out that can only feasibly be used to bench with ln2 with air coolers.
if that 560gtx x2 or the 460 ones ever come out NV will be embarrassed and some1 or a team needs to get fired or atleast reprimanded.
Come on, that double fan, tri 6-pin and two(!) SLI dongles card is supposed to be real?
CentreCom is trolling for clicks I am afraid.
Soo, for people who want 4 of these cards in one system (GPGPU) I think it's time that PSU makers step up with 2,4-2,6kw platinum PSUs. They already exist but only in the server world for now. For how long have we seen high powered rigs or benchtables with multiple PSU because even current high end PSUs can't keep up with power demand?!
Now comes HD6990 and GTX590. To each card it's own PSU or what?!
Soooo all these fakes make it look like 590 isn't going to launch soon? Otherwise why all the misinformation and Bs?
2 * 8 pin and 1 * 6 pin - wow! does it come with a bracket to stop the board from flexing too?
I should have 2 arriving tuesday, pics & benchmarks will be posted shortly after, that is if my PSU can cope!Quote:
£682 inc vat each
thats a confirmed price, I am getting them to confirm that they are able to sell me two
If that $1k+ price is accurate.....What exactly is the point of the thing? I can get two of the Zotac AMP GTX580's that are factory overclocked for less than the price of that monstrosity.
I mean heck, some of those benchmarks (if accurate), have a stock GTX580 barely behind it.

For the US, using Newegg as a guide.....in comparison to a single GTX 580 stock, which you can get for $500, you pay $600-700 more to get 10-20fps with a card that runs lower clocks, cannot OC as much, and exhausts all that lovely hot air into your case.
Or for $1000, you can buy two stock GTX 580's which have higher clocks, can be OC'd, exhaust out of your case, and will give you higher frame rates? So what exactly is the appeal of this aside from people who only have a single PCIe x16 slot? I guess for people who want to chain a bunch of these to run GPGPU stuff? But trying to market this as a gaming card?
Well, in portugal it's 800 EUROS ... meaning that it's +- 1130USD :x
Europe gets shafted with taxes, USA does not. Compare prices of currently available cards to see it.
Several members in Chiphell have already received the card. According to one post:The owner of Chiphell has finished a review and we will release the review also on XS when the NDA ends, which is UTC 13:00 on 24th March 2011.Quote:
The size is smaller than 6990. The distance between the two GPUs is large. Got back plate to aid cooling. Performance is about the same as 6990, and perhaps 6990 wins slightly. 607MHz makes it very silent, and is supposed to leave enough headroom for OC.
