There have been two reactions to that photo - a) NO and b) that's a beautiful spider. Ok, there was only one of b), who wanted to know where it was taken. The rest were more like yours. :p

Spiders are good, I keep them as pets...................well not really ;), I just leave em alone because they keep down the other pests like flies and mossies
Shot this last week in my backyard, looks like an Agelenidae spiders web but could also be the deadly funnel web spider, I wasn't brave (or silly) enough to find out :D

This one took almost 30 attempts, I started with a soft-focus filter and finally settled on a heavy defocussing. I quite like the look, although I know it won't appeal to many.

With the looooovely weather about recently, I haven't had the chance to go out and do much shooting, nor have we gone anywhere worthy of shooting. However, thanks to Valentine's day, I was able to get a couple fun shots of my wife's flowers.
Most of these were shot with the on-camera flash and a cheapo hot-shoe mount diffuser (the white one of these...got it in a kit ages ago). I don't have a real flash, so you work with what you've got. They were shot RAW with some white balance and exposure tweaking, plus a crop here and there and that's about it. :)

^ was that taken with a 35mm lens ???, tripod ??, have you altered the colour/hue as it seems to be the wrong shade IMHO
I wish we had a moon that is easier to shoot here in west Oz, its so small you'd need a x1000000 telescope

^ Are you using photoshop/lightroom to edit your pics ????, removing some of the shadow would make a world of difference to your 1st shot
