Thanks to yojimbo197 for wasting another hour of my life. I swear youtube is like lays potato chips you can't eat/watch just one. You start at one end of the spectrum and end up at the other. And you occasionally get rick rolled along the way. Then you run across a classic one liner. "I'm here to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of bubble gum."
Oh and retro we are about to pass IBM again. :D
Been a while since I have been in the game, so I went ahead and booted up all my old machines and have them all running full steam. Also put my current desktop on as well! More points for XtremeSystems!

I rest my case..
I don't think every project on the grid is just going to jump straight on the GPU bandwagon. GPUs aren't suitable for EVERY science engine even though they scream along on others. Apparently they trialled GPU apps for other things but found them slower than the existing CPU versions. FA@H only just went 64bit, for example, and it's been running for a looooooong time.
There's no doubt there WILL be more GPU work on the grid. That's certain in my mind. Exactly what and when is anybody's guess though.
