I have Asetek Antarctica block and a water chiller. So far using +6-15c water temp. I must do more insulating before I can use colder water. Load temps areQuote:

I agree about the 0534SPMWs... nice cpus. :toast:Quote:

Going to go slow on this one as this is on new mobo A8N32 and I need to learn all the little things on it as well as burning it in correctly for phase change cooling later :) But little pre-emptive view is always helpful... anyone got link... don't know why I am failing to search today.
I just got a 0543TPMW 170. I hope it's better than my 0536mpmw! I'm testing default right now to make sure it's a good chip
ALERT
ALERT
I'm leaving in 10 minutes to picj up a new 3800 X2 at pcclub, is there a stepping or week to look out for? Or to RUN FROM??
thx!! (and no they don't have 165/170/175)

My old 3800 X2 was a CCBWE 0529SPMW and did 2600 w/ 1.4Vcore on air... If you can find one that old, GRAB IT...Quote:

I got mine from page computers. Took a little while to ship out so make sure you order at least two day. I order two day shipping and it took 4 ~days to get it.Quote:

Thx
KamE38, your 165 has the same stepping as my 170, CCBWE 0546 SPMW, but haven't tested it yet. Any CCBWE 0546 SPMW out there ?
hey :)
hope 4 us it'll be a golden week :p:
hope so :D :D :p:Quote:

Will I be able to run them all the way up to 580Mhz 3,3,3,8, if the timings are possible on my memory, and theoretically if I can get the clock the core fast enough? Currently everything I got is kicking, but this 3800+ dh7-cg is a real flat tire…:slapass:
YEP! See my Sig.Quote:

Be careful with voltage on that chip...... I've been testing another 170 tonight (I'll have to check the stepping) that runs 2.5 @ 1.23 and tops out at 2.6 @ 1.375 (and the temps go to hell)....... Any voltage over 1.40 shuts it down in an instant........ Looking for the FIRE sale...:) :)Quote:

Runs cooler than my old 175, it was 48*C load at 2.6ghz (and a little more volts).
voltage doesn't seem to shut me down, must be you cooling maybe? or bad IHS/Heatsink contact?
Nope it's just a screwed up chip. I've already removed the IHS and tested it in 3 different boards and it does the same in all of them......... You know it's hosed when it does 2.5 @ 1.23... Happy trails. :)Quote:

Opty 175 CCBWE 0543 TPMW Running Dual Prime now at 1.42Vcore and 250x10. This chip is not Dual Prime stable at 2.6gig and 1.5 Vcore. Asus Probe temps showing 54C while priming.
54C? what cooling are you running? (obviously not the VapoLS in your sig lol).Quote:

Make sure your ram is not running 1:1, I'm having problems with anything above 255 on the RAM, though that will depend on mobo/ram combo and timings of course.
Nope... you're not blind... I am. ;) My chips are CCBWE 0534SPMWs. Sorry about that little mixup. ;)Quote:
