Wow I need to start benching this and learn, I hope you guys know my last post was a joke, I was just amaze at how far my time is compared to you guys....... How different is 32m vs 1m tweak wise?

The difference of tweaking between 1M and 32M is as follows.

Without these tweaking and methods, the score is about 20% slower.

10x for posting some of your tweaks, I'm very interested in ram disk tweaking, by your opinion how much seconds is gain on 3600mhz (your excellent result) if spi directory is on ram disk or on hdd? I suppose you are using eram?

Thanks NewBeetle. I think alot of people are running 32m's now.

Do we need /want a section for fastest (closest to 12.xx) time @ 3600 or below?

Considering the amount of times we got at 3.6GHz, I'd say yes. :p:

Maybe even enough to start a sub 3600MHz 32M thread.

it is i was just toying with the idea how far i am off sub-13m and george was working out efficiencies there :toast:

we're pretty serious about SPI

wow NewBeatle you are using a totally different approach in tweaks EEK >> more work and testing ahead i think :D

This tweaks works well under win xp or win 2003?

Because I get faster spi if I used ramdisk for Spi 1M under win 2003.

Misko: I use too quad-gt, so we can resemble together results.:)

I'm 99% sure that he is using 2k3, which ramdisk application u are using?

yours 32M score is really great under zero, so yes we can resemble together :D, but me and my Team must use XP :(, give us much better clock for CPU vs. 2k3

one more advantage for me of using Abit is that when go sub zero perf number will not go down like on other boards, little explanation:

when using dlx on 3600 category competition, u are using 2:3 divider fsb is 400, and ram is 600, when u go sub zero it would be pretty much the same thing, maybe u will move few mhz but.... when using abit, on air it is 514 for both RAM and FSB, and when u go sub zero it would be 540+:

Do not watch result it is not good (it is 3rd in the world, but win wasn't so good) so my Team will heave boost in fsb and memory (that dlx users do not have) :toast:

Hi NewBeetle impressive runs you have put in, I'm intrigued that your listed tweaks has included MAXMEM for the 32M runs. I have been doing some extensive testing of 32M runs (which can be found here) and have found adjusting MAXMEM to 400, 500 and 600 did not gain me anything in my runs. I wonder is there anything different in the way you are implementing this tweak? My method is as follows

I will try sub 10s 9*570-580fsb, if mobo can..we beated 572FSB yet..

I don't know but in XP we can shot 1M 5480, with 2k3 max is 5400, similar with 32M, ~100mhz less dunno why :confused: Do u have best 3600 32M with quadGT can u try it? I'll be very interested to see that.

I tested it.
It increases for about five seconds on hdd.
And i am using "ERAM for Windows Ver 2.11".

When i adjust physical memory more under Windows, I use "MemEat" that reduces physical memory.
However, the effect is a little (about 0.5-1.0 second).

Hello, Johnny Bravo-san.
I understand what you say and your question is very reasonable.

First question,
I think MAXMEM shows the effect by combining with COPY-WAZA.
My Copy-Waza size is "MAXMEM size + 100-200MB".
Without MAXMEM, Copy-Waza size will be very large.
And there is no difference in MAXMEM tweaking itself.

Second question,
I use the tool named "MEMEAT" to adjust the physical memory more in detail after physical memory is roughly adjusted with MAXMEM.
However, the effect is a little (about 0.5-1.0 second).
I'm sorry I can't explain well any more.
