if this wasnt an xtreme forum ill be happy wih the "competition", more like a show, no WR were broken, nothing really impresive, no really great new hardware was shown.

it was the cream of the cream there i expected more.

Yeah, the Bullhead board sounds very nice. I'm waiting for future rev., upgrades, etc. :D

wonder when we will get to see the scores...or is that still under NDA?

Curious, what was it that grayskull did to beat everyone's score on opp's rig like that?

did he somehow push opp's hardware further?

ATI must be upset that their new card can't get 1st place on the orb. i would be upset too if i paid that much money for a convention and gained very little from it. at least macci,fugger,ETC had fun at the ati convention. ati really needed the R520 on display. maybe it isn't ready yet or it dosen't exist nin hardware form yet.

well hes an ati engineer, so Im guessing he helped make the board.. which obviously means he prolly knows a lil more about it than OPP. :)

Here's the scoop.
I was playing with my rig running 3D. Scores just weren't right with the Card at about 800/680. John Bruno came over and did some tweaking in the BIOS and scores went up. I then let Bruno play with my rig for a while running 3D, give him the thrill of OPPAINTERs rig;) I showed him how my X850XT worked with certain voltages and how to work the voltage. He then did a run at 840/680, the CPU was running at 3200MHz. The result was 8690, top score of the week:D

This was all done with my own Video card, CPU and OS, only thing I used that ATI supplied was the mobo for this run.

it's just the Fata1ity "series" of boards... it's a NF4 Ultra board with OK spec's and Voltages... disappointingly, there's no SLI, though...
