What are the chances of D0 doing 4.5Ghz stable? What's the average voltage required? I wouldn't want to spend extra cash if there isn't a lot of difference from my C0.

I am trading someone my c0 and some cash for his d0 is is a 3849A916 batch I heard this batch does very well. I have seen some benchmark it at 4.5 Ghz on a Giga board. So far my C0 will top out at 4.2GHz, hope this new chip is worth the extra cash.

On both my i940 and i950 I need at least same and when tested more vcore for linx at max memory, than prime.
Showing a prime blend and linx stable screenshot together, how would you know they did not simply choose a vcore that both would run at:shrug: I have a 13 hour run with prime blend at vcore that failed linx max memory.
Only way to prove anything would be to video a 13 hour run of prime at vcore where prime passed but linx failed, then keep video going and run linx and capture the bsod. But time demands vary considerably from my interest in the subject.
Since I have now heard quite a few arguing both ways, I assume it is possible for some cpu/mobo/setups to need more vcore for linx or prime, especially given difference between 2 programs and given extra heat of linx.
Or maybe I should get into the internet spirit, and say everyone is crazy that found it the opposite of my setup:D.
Just starting to overclock my W3520. Stock voltages, but boy these things can get hot, even under H²O.

LOL I know I pull my hair out every time I see someone claim you can't pass linx when you have a Prime blend stable 8 hours or more. It drives me crazy because it has never been the case for me Linx is rough on temps but easy on stability it is roughly equivalent to Prime small FFT's in my experience and that's with 3 different processors and 2 different sets of ram. Also 2 different mobos... It's not that I don't believe anyone It's just that I would love to see some screenshots showing otherwise to satisfy my curiousity because in my experience I just don't see how it's possible and i've never seen anyone post screenshots saying otherwise so I continue to believe it's not possible.Quote:
