does quadgt have 1333 strap ?
It's not up on abit servers yet any idea when it will be available?
thank you!
This is a bootable dos CD for the 11 BIOS final. Remember do not flash in Windows :nono:
Just burn the ISO and boot from it everything else is self explanatory :fact:
QuadGT11.zip
By the way this bios is identical to the earlier one a posted wich was a relabeled B08
CRC32 was the same value.
then, it won't make any difference to my quad core (Q6600)...i'll expect the same limits as i have now.
I just did my RAID 0 setup with no problem at all using the intel chip and win xp pro 64bit
running B6R bios
just wanted to let u guys know
i think vista is the OS that gives users trouble when it comes to raid.
really?
asus says that a bios they support 1333fsb
guys im looking to test the speed of my raid system what do u guys use for that?
there is HDTach and another one...can't remember right now...i will find it and post back here.
EDIT:...i found it...it is called HD Tune...probably the best of all around:

BIG thank u guys
Hey guys,
I am having trouble booting at 480fsb into windows. I tried setting mch:1.65 ich:1.6 cpuvtt:1.4 ddr2:2.3 @ 5-5-5-15 1:1 and cpu @ 1.36v I don't think it is the cpu because I even tried the 6x multi @ 480 a speed I know the cpu will run and still locks up at windows boot screen. cpu temp is 25c idle system 25c idle pwm avg 42c idle. Any ideas? Is it my board or my ram won't run that high at 1:1?:(
most likely you need to increase your vcore...i think 480 FSB at 1.36 vcore is doing darn well!
what is your vmem set at...i don't see that setting in the above post.
I cant get past 480mhz either.
This new bios seems ok. Fixes some quirks I guess....didn't give me a single mhz more on the FSB. Oh well :( My high hopes were unreasonable I guess.

vmem is 2.3v I tried vcore up to 1.425v and no go. Not even 1mhz more.
if that is bios setting versus actual setting then you are only getting about 1.38v for real!...there is about .04v undershot in actual voltage from what the bios is set....under load, in windows, the vcore will drop even more...my experience is about .02-.03v drop under load.
