I was running 2395 but it would decide to randomly NOT post focring me to clear cmos, swap ram, change settings, and swap back. Reflashed 2333 and problem free with 3.75ghz orthos and 3.9ghz 3d on air.
I sort of hate you.Quote:

it could be any physical change to the board, like capacitor or anything else.Quote:

What about the current prozessor voltage in the bios? Is 1.325volts always standing also when I go on 1.4vcore voltage?
Also on Intel orig. tools worked not probably. Intel Control Center freezes, Intel Desktop Center didnīt start with my board. "initialitation failure" "rofl"
Also in Everest he is not showing all voltage infos only CPU core when I click on sensors. In my mind I Think on the first start of everest it was all shown and after cmos clear even not! "strange"
helping were welcome^^
Ps: When the windows run in IDLE now the temp is 30-31 after stress test it goas to 68 and than when I stop the test about 3hours the IDLE temp is about 40-42!
anybody knows if C1E under the maintenance bios menu should be enabled or disabled?
With the Normal P5B does the Bios give the option for Southbridge Configuration with the latest Bios?, problems with a Modem/Fax not showing up and a Netgear wireless adapter playing up on win 64 due to win 64 Drivers but maybe the Southbridge controller not showing up?
Should the option for Sothbridge be in the latest Bios, if so what can cause the SB from not being recognized?

Settle around the 3300 range after AS5 has set in failing Prime at 2 hours at the moment due to Temperatures or the Timeings for the Ram.

also the program speedfan is not working on my machine!! There is no data!
why this?
Is there any program to set the fans seperatly?
to check the changes on Revisions for the D975XBX2 you can sign up for Intel Product change Notifications at Intel.pcnalert.com.Quote:

Well does my board blow or what? I can't get over 440 fsb stable on 1066 strap :( 1.7vmch 1.425vfsb. Would more vfsb help or is it mch mod time? Didn't have time to test. I managed to run a 4ghz 8m on 1333 strap but it's pretty slow compared to 1066.
My 24/7 OC until my water comes. 1.5V bios. This chip rocks :D

And a 32m @ 3600

25 seconds better than my 4-4-4 run on 965 and I'm a little less tweaked and max mem won't work. Stupid matrix raid, I have my main os on raid 0 and then my bench os on raid 1 and the boot loader didn't install. Now to pick my OS I need to put raid 0 or 1 first in HDD boot order. Bit of a pain but oh well. When I set max mem it won't apply though and it's pissing me off, losing valuable 32m time!
After flashing back to 2333 BIOS this Intel setup has been a much more pleasant experience than my 6600/p5b combo. Great board!
Did you get the latest beta version from the everest forums? It should show the info.Quote:

Speedfan doesn't work with the aSC7621 monitor chip on these boards. I've tried to contact Alfredo about this several times but he's not answering. I'll keep trying.
thx I will look in the forum yet.^^
The temp prob is always there. I will look tomorrow for a better thermal grease.
For 340FSB the IDLE is now at 40-42° and under full load it raise to 68!!
I think for this Thermltake Tower I have with 5fan and a HSF from scythe samurai it is to high!
vcore default:for 340FSB is 1.188 - ram is on 667@425MHZ 4-4-4-2:)

nope your board doesn't blow, you are getting very high on the 1066 strap and you should be proud :p:Quote:

I understand that but I was talking about the other information on the table like the memory ratios for each strap and memory speeds. I want to know which Mem. freq and Ref. freq. will give me 1/1 ratios on different cpu frequencies like 3.4,3.5,3.6 since it changes as you move your FSB up or down.Quote:

Highest OC so far. Its a B chip so it runs pretty hot. It is not Stable but enough for SuperPI. I would like to 3D bench at that speed, maybe raising vfsb ? I am currently pushing the limmits of that 1066strap. Tried to boot at 460mhz x9 for beauty shot with 1066 and OS corrupted.
Right now im at 3800 24/7 stable, im am currently running 3850mhz and will try orthos stable, 1.465v is pretty much the max i can have for Orthos, Loads at 69coretemp and 73c IDU.

AFI: Wow 82c load in coretemp, you make me look like a :banana::banana::banana::banana: to be afraid to go over 1.465v because of my 69c load. Is there a reason why you are confortable with 82c load ?
