We'll move on from butterflies today and go with a Robin. If he/she hadn't chirped, this would have been an excellent catch. As it is, there is a slightly blurry beak.

How dark was it that you needed to use ISO 3200 for that?
It was on auto ISO (what I use 90% of the time unless it's not doing what I want it to do), but during the release there were a group of kids standing in a circle with a couple staff members as well. In between them it was pretty well in shadow. However, I'm glad it chose that, because the trade-off is a slower shutter speed, which doesn't work with unpredictable butterflies. :)

We went to the 18th annual Native American Heritage Celebration yesterday. It was cloudy (as it seems to be when I want to take photos), but the colors were so amazing it didn't matter anyway.

Really clean for ISO 3200.
Thanks; surprised me too, especially with this camera, which can be noisy under bad conditions at 3200.
