Well, with the BIOS I just upgraded to puts 1.250v on it by default. At 1100/1250 my temps over the past 2 days are 54C max for GPU and 61/59C max for the VRMs.

Just raised it about 3 hours ago to 1150/1250 and fan 43% in CCC. So far 55C max GPU and 62/61C max VRMs. Also, change to running 10 WUs so we'll see where the PPD goes (I'm shooting for 900k out of a 7950)!

Got to ask: How are you going over 1100? Software or is this a function of the new bios?

Just using CCC to OC. Power at 0% and fan at 43%. Maybe be the BIOS since it has a 1000 boost for core. My sliders go to 1200 for core and 1575 for memory in CCC.

FWIW you can save some heat and wattage by lowing your memory clocks. High memory clocks do nothing to increase performance on the HCC GPU app. My 7970s are at 1125/685 on stock voltage.

Thanks for reminding me, forgot about that with this one. Once I reach my max core I'll drop the memory.
