Not what I wanted to hear :(. Seems like most of you guys ordered your chips from either Newegg or ZZF. Has anybody ordered from Monarch Computer? I guess now the question would be which store would give me the best chance of getting a CAA2C.Quote:

Amazingly alot of computer store personell wont let you do this but I found it is easier to talk to the head manager to get them to do what you want.Quote:

servl what's your highest stable clock? I was hoping my CAA2C 0504 MPMW would be able to do 2.7 prime stable but it looks like it can't :( I tried giving it up to 1.65 volts but that didn't help, and anything above that would be too hot for my XP-120 since It's already reaching 60C load with the following stable settings..

I wouldn't trust that 60c load with an xp-120, ur mobo could just be lying.
It ran SuperPi 32M at 310x9 @ 1.58 VCore. It wouldn't finish at 313...Quote:

I'm going to switch the BH-5 back in and figure out how to jack up the VDimm. I do not like the timings of the TCCD as much.

Alright I just tried giving my cpu up to 1.73 volts and still can't get it stable at 2700, highest stable clock for me so far is 2566 @ 1.52 volts...so it looks like the chip has a good mem controller but maxes out about 2.57-2.6, can't wait for San Diego..
Yo guys, I started testing my CAA2C 0509 FPMW.
I didn't go far yet.
Results FSB MAX @ AMD HSF.
1. RAM divider to get max FSB. (100 2.5-3-3-7 2.8v 1T)
2. Set multi to 9.
3. Must complete SuperPi 1M and Prime95 10 minutes.
285 x 9 @ 1.2 x 126% (1.456v CPUz) Vchip 1.5v LTD 1.2v
290 x 9 @ 1.4 x 110% (1.488v CPUz) Vchip 1.5v LTD 1.2v
I'm stuck there (295), went up to 1.275 x 126% (1.552v CPUz) but it can't
run Prime95. Things are getting hot with that voltage and AMD HSF.
I will try more voltage tonight, if it fails again, I will switch to multi 10x
Someone suggested to me to use bios 414-3, I will do it once testing multi 10x
and 11x are completed.
Should finish my external water box for next week, so its AMD HSF for now.
may i ask why you are increasing VCore through percentages rather than just the normal interface. is that better?
