Any ideas which of those will fit on the two sockets that are right next to each other? Need to jump on that.

EDIT:The Vapochills don't require a top retention bracket which is nice. If they fit next to each other at that funky angle I think I'll buy some.

EDIT: Someone bought all the K8 Extreme and High End Vapochills. Jerks!! (Please ignore the appearance of these in any photos of my setup.)

Idk. But I can tell you the coolers I got (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835103064) fit with zero room to spare. Orientated with fan -> heatsink -> (touching) fan -> heatsink. I hope that makes sense. Anyway you can compare with those dimensions

I need the board, RAM (getting from work) and power cable adapters. And a box to mount it in :P

Board is coming soonish. Cable adapters can be found compusa if you have one of those. Make sure your psu is single rail

Hmm it isn't, it is an Antec Truepower New 750W. Single rail a requirement? Sigh, must have missed that. I didn't think I had to buy a power supply.

single rail is HIGHLY reccomended for quad quads, either that or a very strong 12V rail, although, you MIGHT be able to get the power you need off multiple rails, depending on the layout

The power supply is an Antec Truepower New 750W. Each rail is rated at 25A, there are 4 of them, and the max total wattage combined is 744W, only 6W shy of the total output lol. I would think it would have enough 12V guts, the issue I suppose is possibly connecting rails together when hooking it all up.

I guess you'll just have to try it. It'll either work or not I suppose. You could sell it for the price of a new 500w psu,maybe more

75 amps in the 12 v (combined) in a non single rail psu for 2 boards, would that cut it?

thanks. i decided to get two of those. i'm only getting two cpus for now, i don't have enough $$$ to get all four right away.

so an update for me:

memory is in hand!
cpus are in the mail from Deluded!
just ordered the two coolers from Coolermaster!
already have 2 psus, each one is overqualified :p:

need to order or purchase adapter cables.
need the motherboard.

update on the boards: the seller got back to me and offered to replace or refund the bad boards. the problem is who is going to pay for the shipping? i'm hopefully getting some boxes tomorrow from my wife's work. finding the appropriate sized boxes is hard

Pay some visits to convenience stores. They are likely to have some large boxes which they haven't thrown away.
