They seem to have got some e6600's in today and allocate them - my order has just gone from 1-2 weeks to allocated :DQuote:

(do a CTRL+F5 if it still shows 1 in stock or 100 due for you)
Reapplied as5 to the motherboard, removed wifi card, reapplied as5 to cpu. All went well :)
Before I would get to windows welcome screen and crash with 400x9 1.55v now I can run 1M :)

Well done there, thought you'd get over the hump, stuck it on prime yet?Quote:

For me it has to be very stable, if its not solid enough for a good few hours prime and a couple of cycles of toasting with SnM, it'll only bugger something up later on. So I'll drop back to 3.5Ghz for 24/7.
Just to compare, these are the Pi's I get for 4-4-4-12 1:1
Pi 1M @ 3.6Ghz 14.078s
Pi 32M @3.6GHz 14m 39.172s
First local I've noticed round here, I'm at the uni but on an industrial placement for a year :slap: . I'm getting pretty much the same setup but getting NR RAM instead of HZ, saves me a few quid and I don't think timings will matter hugely - it's still PC2-6400. I'd be very happy with 3.5G @ 1.5v, what idle loads temps are you getting with that vcore? and what BIOS are you using?Quote:

Idles about 27/30C, ambients about 20/23C. 903 bios. Just running an SnM loop at the moment. That'll really cook it, hovering 44/46C, touched 50C for a second before the HSF sped up to max.Quote:

ps. I'm going for the MSI 975x PowerUp board too now seeing as prices of ATI gfx cards are coming down with the immiment arrival of their X1950 boards. I'll get a CrossFire Master card to go with the standard X1900XT I've already got.
