Last week I got a LDBFE 0621XPMW from Newegg. So far 230x10 at stock volts. I want to put in my test hdd before I really start pushing it.

I would like to be able to prime stable at 2.8+ Ghz.

I get that at stock volts but it primes at about 54c. Adding voltage doesnt affect it that much, I get about 2.9GHz at 1.4v in the bios. I think it needs better cooling.

Any know what Newegg is shipping out? Have one coming tomorrow - already have a 620VPMW from Directron that is prime stable up to about 2.79 Ghz (1.47v) - the best OC'r will stay in mine, other into the wifes box.

which warehouse is it shipping from? both of my LDBHE 0601 came from the tennessee warehouse from newegg.

I'm using a dual radiator with Apogee, my load temps on the CPU sensor are 38. Internal temps for core 0 is 41 and core 1 is about 50 c.

don't know yet really. Big week for Rosetta, right now it's been happily crunching 24+hours@ 2950mhz 1.513v.

ran dual prime small FFTs for 3.5hrs before getting impatient. 2800mhz@ stock

also ran dual prime Custom test for ~2.5hrs (1024-4096k fft lengths, 400MB/core, priority 9) @ current speed, again gave up out of impatience. Popping the ihs next week and then going to sort this out some more. This has all been ihs intact, stock TTBigTyphoon, closed case with a weak PSU and ambient of ~75F.

just fwiw, here is my only run of 3DMark06 so far. 3070mhz @ 1.568v

mm not sure then, i think the TN warehouse still have the old chips. I rarely get stuff from the TN warehouse when i order something on newegg, its always shipped from CA or NJ warehouse

I just recieved one from Newegg NJ.

LCBIE 0618 EPMW

From all the others that have this stepping, looks like 2.8 close to stock volts should be possible - and those were on air. I'm using water so I'm hoping to get at least 2.8 Prime stable if not more.

Got the new chip in, it's priming 3.0 Ghz @ 1.50v.

looks to be almost a given:fact: ;)

nearly 2 days@ full load Rosetta now, 0 errors 2950mhz 1.513v. Appears that 3ghz prime stable on air below 1.6v is very likely, even on air:banana: :banana:

Yea, MCP350 pump, Black Ice GT 240 radiator w/ 2x75cfm 120s, Swiftech Apogee Cpu block and maze4 on X1900XTX (690/800). All 3/8"ID tubing.

Load varies - using Everest overall CPU temp is about 42 load from the sensor. core 0 says 40c, core 1 says 47c. This chip shows the two cores about 7 deg apart. My 620 VPMW showed the cores being about 12 deg apart.

fwiw, my Core0 is much stronger than core1. tried priming 3100mhz briefly. in a few seconds, core1 crashed, core0 kept on going...

These are all within the last 3 weeks. I use these for crunchers[24/7 on air] so I don't reall twist them up much:(

My other chip is the same, 620 VPMW - max prime stable is about 2780 @ 1.472v.

Feast yer eyes boys - this was with the voltages set to auto in the BIOS. My 620VPMW is Manchester, this 618EPMW is Toledo.

I got a LDBFE 0625APAW in from the Egg yesterday (Shipped from NJ warehouse) and it sucks. Needs 1.55v for 2.7GHz :slap: I never get lucky when I buy online, NEVER! :fact:
