Release information:
1. Change default setting of Cool n' Quiet to "Enable"
2. Change Full screen logo.
3. Cool n' Quiet now works as intended.
4. Fixed the issue that certain VGA card does not work with DVI output.
5. Fixed the issue that some 3D application may not run stable in SLi mode.
6. Change some item in DRAM voltage section.
7. Add AMD MCT2 version 1.3 support.
8. BIOS compiled date: 07/12/2005

Is there any point to using this bios if we dont have anything of the problems that are in the change log?

some people have issues where if a fan isnt plugged into the cpu fan header, the board refuses to boot up. Besides with silent otes, i could care less about the stupid fan monitoring funtion. It is quite annoying to go in and disable everything which most people do anyways.
soo umm 1T still a problem? SLI still a problem?
compile date is 7/12. So took them only three days of testing? Scary, no? But then again, wat else are the end users good for besides being guinea pigs? :banana:
I got my Fatal1ty AN8-SLI yesterday. After some problems with the board booting up with the message "Working in fail safe state" no matter what settings i used the AN8 is up and running. All it needed was a good old CMOS Reset.
Right now im running 291*9 DDR333 2-2-2-5 1T (RAM @ 237Mhz) on a 3000+ Venice. This is with shipping BIOS 1.3
Seems like a nice mobo .. I might even get another one for my surfing/gaming rig.
anyone tested this bios yet.....i am on std air until tomorrow so eagerly awaiting some initial results
have you memtested this at test#8
try the FX55 is you've still got it

I sold my last FX. It did 2.7 semi stable with water cooling. Worst FX ever made im sure. I do have a nice San Diego 3700+ tho. Does 2850Mhz @ stock vcore on air - Boxed Winchester cooler. Im going to give it a run tomorrow :)
BTW: Just got through 16m @ 295 HTT .. RAM @ 241.5Mhz.
