Anyone else notice the pricing games ZZF has been playing?
They listed the E6400 at $239 until they got some stock and promptly jacked it to $279.
They listed the Asus P5B at $129 until they got stock and then jacked it to $165.
They list the MSI 965 Neo at $115 now and the E6600 at $339. I bet when they finally get both of those items in stock they'll jack the prices by about $40 on each.

Fred, you make a good point. In that case that puts ShopBLT right back into the ball park again. Their's a good possibility they will jack up the price (makes no sense to me as it will turn others away) when the C2D is in stock. I also wanted to add the lack of restriction in buying them. As if they want you to buy in bulk so they can make their sales and move on.
A fellow on ebay had 10 E6400 retail box factory sealed but the auction is probably up now.
I picked one up Buy Now for 275.00.

Ingram Micro is a very large distrubtor for many retail chain stores. It's also been rumored that Ingram Micro and Buy.com are one and the same...With Buy.com having no telephone number to call for any assistance with your order. We cannot buy from Ingram Micro (as far as I know) to place an order for just one. From what I have been told, their processing fees alone hinder people from doing it so they buy in bulk. I also heard that their online buying is so convaluted and difficult that it is a true maze online. But these are just complaints I've heard...don't take it from me...Quote:

I've seen that ebay link before when searching on there. Its crap. Your basically preordering and waiting for him to get the item and ship it to you. He DOES NOT have the item on hand and is still charing $419 for a E6600.Quote:

Just called up ClubIT to check how they were shipping and they said even though they're in stock they won't ship until Monday (7th) and even then the free shipping is 5-7 days fedex so it'll actually be delivered probably later than my Monarch order. Monarch seems to be alot lower in price AND shipping, so I think i'll just stick with this order.Quote:

wow, they were suppose to place some sort of hold on your CC not charge you outright...well that's what other places do. While some just take your order and do nothing until the item ships. Did you charge it or use other means? Because that's not right...they take your money and make you wait 2 weeks for delivery. I am sure they will send you the item but that's simply not right at all. Probably to charge an arm and a leg like they did when they had the X6800 in stock. Newegg is so big now that there are plenty of people that will pay a premium just to order from them.Quote:
