I think no if you are runing it @ 2650 Mhz, but it should be to slow to fully utilize the X1800XL/XT cards with default 3200+ CPU frequency 2000 Mhz :slap:Quote:

Had a chance to try out the ATItool some more. I also toyed around with the CPU a little to see what I could get. This is still with the stock ATI cooler, although the first run I opened the case and the second I pointed a house fan at at the inside of the case.
Overclock Tool:
625/750 1.275/1.95: 8625 X2 4400 @ 2.4
675/810 1.35/2.2: 9160 X2 4400 @ 2.4

I will try again later. But I think 10K is in site with the stock cooler. With the case open I hit 79 as my high without the house fan.
One thing is for sure - it is definitly addictive trying to get a high score even if you won't play games at it! The X1800XL rocks...
Quigs : could be one or both :-) surely i cant set 750 or even 720 even with I/O or mem voltage to 2.25 .. it soon starts artifacts, i even got more then 80C with zalman now!
also tried 16xAF Trilinear and AA4x and got with 685/666 90fps in mother nature, nice :-)
Na not CPU limited its the video card still holding back the power. I'm @ 625/650 w/ a 2.6Ghz dually and I hit 9114-9118 constantly.Quote:

HAHA wow turns out mine is an OCing demon!!! All i had to do was raise the GPU core as well as memory volts and it allowed me to OC the memory. Now heres what I'm running at stabely 650/1600 volts at 1.225/2.0/2.0 on air at around 57* celsius... im loving my new XL the framerates in games are fantastic, i think ill finally be able to break 7000 3dmark with my 3500+Quote:

As for the voltage, dang 1.45V.... Hate to see the amps thats comsuming at that voltage, let alone the heat.
